this is a great fone it has evverything the onli problem i hav had with this phone in the period i have had it is that i can't watch videos on youtube anymore im not sure why but that's how it is other its a great phone it's practically a computer in ur pocket trust me if u dnt hav one U SHUD GET ONE :-)

The dual keyboard is obviously a great idea. It gives the user flexibility. Yet HTC need to take this idea further. Firstly, the screen size and resolution should be the same as the Touch Pro ie 2.8 inches; VGA res. Make sure that camcording is VGA; 30fps.
Anything less is simply prehistoric. Yes I know this is a business device, BUT it is a high-end one; and "all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy!" HTC should also implement a decent set of stereo speakers so that the user can attain sonic satisfaction. HTC have trouble comprehending that it is humans (with feelings) that use these devices, not robots!

I have this phone, i had to send the first one back because of faulty volume keys but i've recieved my new one and the device works brilliantly. Most people would not use the keyboard, it'd probably only make an appearance if you were using msn messenger or on the internet. It's definately a good phone and i recommend it to anyone who is just starting in windows mobile or someone who has been in windows mobile for a while already.

hi all im busy with an upgrade and im at a cross road here , i like the htc s740 alot , but can sum one plz tell me how is the fone , wen been used every day , is it slow , does the software respond nicely , any problems with it , the reviews are good , but id like a hands on review , sum one useing the fone on a daily basis , plz thanks

This is an excellent phone with great internet & messaging features.
I previously had a Kaiser Tilt with a touch screen.
This is a better solution.
The only thing I would change would to make it bigger, not smaller, so it would have a larger screen and touch pad.
It is light enough and small enough presently, that adding back 25% increase size would make it even better.
