Chun, 29 Jul 2011I am currently using HTC Sensation now. Feel great with the spec especially like: 1)Instant... moreYes! Agree that Sensation is slightly fall behind S2 when come to processing performance, BUT the casing appearance, graphic & sound is much more better than S2.
Had bought a s2 22/07 in India.Have returned the same to samsung on 29/07 since the piece had service issues. The cell signal reception was pathetic. In full signal areas it would fluctuate in seconds from full to min.& sometimes would go to no signal. In buildings it would be mostly no signal or min.Call drops were very common.Samsung says that the motherboard would have to be changed.I have asked for a new handset since the fault is a major one & the piece was returned within 7 working days.Cannot believe the fact that Samsung says in case the piece is returned within 4 days they cannot give a replacement. This is my first Samsung phone.I have never experienced a handset problem in my life which has till now been with Nokia. I doubt that I shall remain with Samsung for long
I have a htc sensation for 1 month,
I spent 829 USD to buying that,
Its the worst phone ever, really slow, lots of time hanged, lots of bugs , screen is awful against sun, many many times i couldn't here when it was rang , when u touch the upper half part, you lost more than 60% of wi-fi signal. camera in awful too, with only small hand shakes 8 MP camera become like a 1 MP camera belong to 7 years ago.I Think engineering and design of sensation has BIG BIG problems.
Tomorrow i'll go for exchange it to S2 for sure .
if u like your 800 USD never ever pay for sansation.
I waaaant this phone but am worried, alot off ppl have bin complaining abt it soo should I get it or take the htc desire s instead ?
HTC sensation is not good in performance and have problem in video playback, while playing video after some continuous playbak audio stops coming. touch experience is also not so good as compareed to other droids in market. talking about battery- battery backup is very low on playing games it will not last even 3 hour with full battery.
what to say about the audio experience. audio loudness is nil and quality is also not good.you can't even notice the ring if in croud.
hands free is also not so good. no bass when listening the music
adoo, 30 Jul 2011does Sensation has Gorilla Glass?Gorilla glass is just a Brand from Corning for hard glass. Every phone technically has gorilla glass.
Hi guys, just a simple question here but does anyone out there with the Sensation have issues with its touchscreen being unresponsive etc? Because i'm about to spend my year-and-a-half savings on this phone and i saw all those touchscreen issues on the internet.. any feedback/replies would be much appreciated!

What's with HTC and their tightarse low internal memory policy?! I'm starting to think it's either a way for them to cut back on costs OR embedding too much internal memory causes the phone to malfunction somehow... 1GB of memory is NOT ENOUGH! Even with Apps2SD you need internal memory for caching!
Guys..I have a question..is there any camera lens cover for the front n back camera on the unibody itself? Cos my one seems to be two hole here...izit juz mine or same for every sensation? Thx...
there is must be somethong wrong with the spesification and gsmarena site the ringtone db as written her is 78.1 while i can't hear it at the loudest volume however the wildfire only 75 and i used it the ringing tone volume is perfect i've paid 4500 egyptian pound for this phone and i can't hear the ringtone oooh my god i will kill myself for this mistake also so heat while using net and the games and graphics is not suitable for daulcore and 768 ram

P.S. Proud owner of Galaxy S 2
I found two dust spots underneath my HTC Sensation touchscreen today. I also found some similar problem online. I don't know how HTC Service in Viet Nam deal with my problem? A big question for HTC quality.!!!!
I purchase HTC Desire S three months back.Four days back I exchanged this phone for Samsung Galaxy 2. After using 24 hours SG S2 I observed that it creates strain on my eyes for long using internet. Again I sold it and purchased HTC Sensation. In my 3 days experience with sensation I observed some isses.
1. Screen Display of desire s is better than sensation.
2. SG S2 Screen colour saturation is heavy and for lomg time viewing it may creates headache.
3. Sensation ui is some times lagging.
4. In sensation some applications during swyping the letters are becoming dazziling. Is it a bug or display fault.?
Please make a debate on these 4 points and expose the facts.
Hello guys.I wanna biy this phone. But I have few questions about this phone
1.Does this phone works fast and don't lag or works slow?
2.This is true that this phone battery is poor and works only about 8 hours after full charge?
3.How about this phone performance? Does Nvidia's Tegra apps works stability on this phone?
Death grip issue is real.
Wifi does drop to the point of no data
and thats 5 feet from the wifi point.
I find the battery use ok
It does get very warn but not hot.
So does the iphone 3gs iphone4
I have had few times where the phone has needed to be reset.
Phone call quality is very good.
Loud speaker is very quiet.
Basic missed call / missed sms mesages lacks a lot, in the way of notifications on your lock screen. Same with alarms, dismiss from the lock screen should leave the phone locked
as an ex iphone user apps lack the polish
and development that a closed market brings.
I expect that to change as programmers can now get paid for the apps they produce instead of relying on advertising revenue.
Im still at point where Im more comfortable with using the iphone, But Android has alot of advantages that the iphone never will.
Like for instance that open market I was trashing in the last paragraph and the fact that Itunes software tends to try to own your computer when you install it, and take over control of your music collection
