AnonD-8404, 14 Jul 2011it really has that deathgrip issues with its wifi signals???No it works perfekt, I have been using my sensation since it came out and it works perfekt even if I try to block the signals.
Best Phone i ever Had... But needs more battery power and WiFi signal strength..apart from that the HTC SENSE is for sure QUIETLY BRILLIANT.
interesting reading the comments regarding the SGS2 vs the sensation.
Being a very happy owner of the SGS2, i would agree the HTC sensation's build quality is superior, though that isnt to say the SGS2 is built poorly. For a phone so thin, it is amazingly robust.
secondly, there is no question that the cortex-A9 CPU+Mali 400MP GPU work together like a dream. The SGS2 beats everything quite easily with its raw power. Try Web browsing; the sensation doesn't come close. Tegra2 is a bit disappointing I feel.
Touchwiz vs HTC sense = no contest, sense
guess it all comes down to what you want!
galaxy s2, 12 Apr 2011samsung galaxy s2 is the best android phone ever :))GS2 in better in screen view from any angle and camera... other than that looks, ergonomics, quality, UI, and feel - HTC Sensation is pretty much the best...
AnonD-8700, 13 Jul 2011This is really disappointing to note that such fantastic specs belittled by that TINY internal... moreIt comes with internal memory for apps, etc. You can always extend memory with Micro SD cards. Apple has 16 and 32 GB memory but you cannot add more memory.
Reading this article i kept thinking how superior the galaxy s ii seemed to be but then in the end it turns out you like the sensation best?
This is really disappointing to note that such fantastic specs belittled by that TINY internal memory of 1GB. Dont know what is HTC's problem with internal memories. Quite wondering for sometime as all phones of HTC sport around 1 or 1.5 GB internal memory, is 4 GB or 8GB memory so costly. Even cheap local chinese touch phones are sporting 4 or 8 GB internal memory. Quite difficult to understand. Secondly, what is holding HTC from incorporating 1800 mAH battery. HTC as i call it HIGH TENSION CELLPHONE.
Update to the latest software update and you will see the battery improves...
Especially in standby mode...
Is there any way to make video call using secondary camera?its must.
I LOVE this device, if you can i would suggest you get the unlocked version rather than the t-mo version... but great toy, only issue is the... um... hold on...oh the battery life which MOST android phones have problems with due to its power consumption which really is not much of a deal to me
Guys any idea about antenna problem ? i haven't signal in urban subway! ( even for WiFi ?)
Please check your software update,
It's now available on OTA..
plz suggest me how can i use video calling , like video skype , if it will not work i will get it back
I got the phone yesterday.
I find it an excellent device. Experienced no problems with low volume etc. Battery life is short though but what to expect of dual core 1.2ghz cpu?
Just taken delivery of the HTC Sensation on Vodafone. Great apart from one thing. Sound quality is DREADFUL hissy as an old AM Radio-as bad as a Motorola mr30 back in 1996-the WORST handset I ever owned.Think this is faulty so back to Vodafone in Nottingham tomorrow for an exchange!
I upgraded from desire S to the sensation, then used the sensation for a week and got the Galaxy S 2. after using the galaxy s 2, I realized that it dosent even come close to the sensation in terms of the UI, so i changed my galaxy s 2 for a new sensation once again, & i must say HTC Sensation is an AMAZING phone, in my opinion no android phone can currently match the awesome experience once can have using the Sensation. Well done HTC the Sensation is a 100% winner in my opinion. Looking forward to the EVO 3d :D
