Seriously no death grip issue ** PEACE**
amazing build quality . Truly beyond expected SENSE 3.0 interface .

Overall 9/10 . Very fast , smooth , nice camera ( don compare with DSLR!! :D),...

Just waiting for Alpharev or XDA to unlock bootloader . Cummon HTC help them (I guess they dont need !)

after open bootloader 10/10 .

I recently bought a HTC Sensation, it's a really friendly bright phone!
But i have to say i was very disappointed in the battery life!
So far i have only downloaded a few apps' and keep Facebook & Twitter updating in the background and I have to charge it twice a day! Also, it crashed quite a lot and then says it wants to send a report to HTC, and then carries on as normal for a while but then crashes.
But if battery life isn't a problem then this is a brilliant phone!

So download "Advance Task Manager" to kill the apps that are running in background

Galaxy S II is nice, better screen contrast, a bit faster on loading & browsing, & has a bit more ram but I must say this phone is a beast... it all comes down to whats REALLY important to you but honestly i love me that HTC Sense (ssooo sswweetttt, better than that boring touchwiz), better built quality, better design as well, and UI is just crazy... If HTC and Samsung were to join, yo they would come out with BEST SMARTPHONE EVER made on the planet...

i had the chance to play with the sensational, x2 and SGSII for some time and although couldn't test all the features, the screen of the SGSII stole my heart. It's so much nicer.

PIECE OF JUNK. I just got this phone after 5 years on Symbian. I was expecting a smooth, well executed device. I figured any Android would be better than archaic Symbian. However, the Sensation manages power SO POORLY. It doesn't allow you to close programs from the program. Eventually, I tried to listen to music & it wouldn't play. Come to find that a million apps are running in the background & sucking up memory. You have to go to task manager every time you wish to close an app. If you don't, you'll soon have too many running to play a song.

I can't even select the option for the browser to use WiFi as default connection. Eventually, I turned off my 4g & manually turned on WiFi (Android won't offer the option of it connecting automatically). Even then it wouldn't load on WiFi. My 2008 Nokia reads WiFi just fine. Sensation keeps cutting in and out of service when I'm sitting right next to the modem.

Rick2011, 16 Jun 2011Poor phone, lousy display, slow in real life usage. The Sense 3 UI is just a gimmick. I'm used... moreWrong, but Nexus One that says it all. The rest, how can anybody respond to 'vague' subjective comments. wtf Sense/ HTC? & HAY 'OF' not off
