I have heard this device will have a locked bootloader whick means no rooting or custom ROM's. Becareful before you purchase a locked down phone.

1. Ghz don't mean anything on processing power (although most never gave this a second though, but it's true.)
2. His comment doesn't make any sense, because current android benchmarks don't tell YOU ANYTHING, never have and never probably will (it's all software for those scores)

U have made recommendation on 1 criteria alone and as such irrelevant & easy 2 dismiss! Both Atrix & LG 2X processor are 1Ghz. Atrix also NOT latest Android, no radio & 5MP camera. The docking I am told works only with a moto brand laptop ( latest model?) same result USB cable 2 any PC. Also U have 'promoted' the SGS2 in an earlier post. Better 4 all if people use the compare features and wait 4 the impartial review than rely on a person who has twice so far voted against this phone.

Good news I hope, playing catch up comments there seems to be some misreporting about the video OFF/ON TO VIEW ?
I read "Searchings" comments and found a link which shows he is right (I bet the there are even links to youtube that show you do NOT have to turn the phone off!)
but here is the HTC link
What I read is what WE ALL KNEW BEFORE "that post"
I'd be especially interested in the WiFi printing feature tested with the HTC Sensation...

Pleasr take the time to read the speclifications of this product & then do the reasearch. I mean right beside TV OUT and you didn't bother to check. Just how difficult is that to do. Also if you like Nokia post in that forum o.k.

It did showconcern over the test results, and others replied to based on what was WRITTEN then. This comment by Jarrops re the watching videos is bizzare! For this reason & taking into a/c I have never owned an HTC, let alone tested this. All my phones have that facility to watch recorded videos straight away, however from that 'Record Video' function I can then go to 'Gallery' or 'File Manager' and as you will know it can be found there, if there was NO option to view. Turning the phone off does not 'SAVE' the video it's just turning the phone off then on. We rely on the accuracy of comments but mine must be seen like that, Evidence that 'contradicts' an owners findings. So I do find it bizarre.

Having now finished playing with my new toy, it is time for a honest appraisal. Definitely an improvement on Desire HD but more evolution than revolution in every sense. I have decided that rather than tie myself into an 18 month contract, I am returning the phone to Vodafone and shall wait for something more exciting. By more exciting, I do not mean SGSII. In truth, I find my Xperia Arc is just as fast as Sensation and the camera on Sensation is not a patch on the Arc! Until there is a significant leap ahead, my Arc and IP4 will keep me amused....p.s. this is not a tech review, not qualified, but my honest opinion based on experience.
There is a strong reason to not buy this phone and its the lack of oleophobic surface.
