In all honestly I really feel that the HTC EVO 3D and the HTC Sensation are the phones to beat this this year. I unlock and debrand phones for a living and have personal experience using all of todays smartphones. My opinion is that no doubt Samsung has a very powerful phone at hand with the Galaxy S II i have tested it myself but i was blown away by the HTC EVO 3D and the HTC sensation at CTI. I also have some news that HTC will be launching a more powerful phone than the Sensation later this year and it is said that it will be a 1.5 Ghz dual core processor! So overall i think HTC has the upper edge here with their first 3D phone and now with the Sensation. And yeah Samsung phones all have the bland design with no meaning to it!
this phone will come to middle-east & Africa @ mid-June!
but as I know price of this phone in Europe is about 950$ or 600 euro!
[deleted post]Well it's up to your personal preference. Do you like the plastic body or metal body? Do you like Galaxy S2's Exyno chip or Tegra 2 chip (depends on region) or you want snapdragon chip?
Do you like Sense UI or Touchwiz UI?
Are you into lightness or built quality?
Sensation isn't out yet... so wait for reviews on it first.
waiting to get it!! amazing phone..
but one turn off with HTC is same designs!!!damn!!!

Sensation (and HTC, for that matte... moreThe comments all in all are just a small selection of features, unfortunately the explanations provided are simply wrong. With this coming at 1.2 Ghz 'may have' a winner is clearly an understatement. All good companies will be aware of peer reviews such as GSMARENA, and do not produce in a vacuum, clearly they know that this phone would immediately become its flagship. It would be speculation on my part as to the name change, from Pyramid to (cause a) SENSATION, is by design! The recent review of the SGS2 should be an indication of the 'ball park' this model clearly sits. Even though attention is focussed on the SGS 2 a comment I have read a number of times is what the SGS 2 would be like if it had Sense 3.0 UI, we have a dual core with 3.0.

Sensation (and HTC, for that matte... moreThe problem with many of these points is that no matter how many leds or their position, HTC is renowned to have poor camera sensors - and therefore the quality of their pictures is substantially poorer than their competitors...
In terms of picture-taking - check out the mobile-review.com review of Galaxy S2 - it does an amazing comparisons with truckloads of example pictures - and even states that it beats the Arc for pictures...
I will agree with you on design though... it looks nicer than the GS2! But not quite there with the specs...
Now if you'd said "Evo 3D" (or Sensation 3D or whatever it'll be called) or Doubleshot... now you're getting interesting...
