Anonymous, 13 Oct 2011i've used this phone for 4 months by now. and i can tell that this is very amazing phone. But ... morebro, can i know what do u mean by third party batt? where can i get this one? im in malaysia.
plz any one can tell me if this phone is able to run video call on fring or tango... when i raed ur opinion i feel afraid to buy this phone :S:S !!
Got ma hands on this beast yesterday & I am LOVING IT!!! :D..
The only drawback that I've noticed is that the speaker volume (when playing music using the default music player) is quite low..Other than that, it's excellent! :)
In concept, this is a pretty great phone. Not so great in practice, though -- I had 3 defective ones (1 with a loose battery door and bad signal, 2 with dust under the display) before talking my carrier into allowing me to return it for another phone. A friend of mine who bought one sent his off for repair twice, both times it came back still defective (lock button doesn't work properly). Also, the battery life is garbage and the screen is barely legible outdoors. HTC's customer support is dismal -- when inquiring about having my screen fixed, they told me it was just an issue with the phone and to send it back for repair whenever the dust got too thick to see the screen.
Bottom line is this is a truly shitty phone in terms of build quality. Don't buy it unless your carrier has an awesome return and DOA policy -- you'll be needing it.

AnonD-23064, 05 Oct 2011I am looking for a HTC to buy. At the moment I am resolute between Sensation and Desire HD.
... moreHonestly bud, I'd go with the desire HD. I bought the DHD in June but then lost it 4 weeks later... But the time I spent using it was great. It's a nice alround phone but the battery can be a hassle at times. Through thorough research I see that the sensation has a LOWER battery life than the DHD which I think can cause some problems. Good luck otherwise!

I just got this phone yesterday. It has an amazing screen and that is basically it. I moved to the htc sense from a nokia n97 mini and i totally miss the qwerty keyboard on my nokia. i have thick fingers and it's very changing to write a message or enter any kind of text. I still haven't used the voice recognition text input though. I also find android being to much complicated in compare with my nokia.
Battery is bad, it dies quickly and gets hot! and ringtone sound is soooo low. otherwise its had good features
HTC sensation XE is really great, except Battery!! its so retarded! I cant believe they came up with a masterpiece but with a battery from the 60s! it lasts maximum for 4 hours! and if u reduce the screen brightness it will last for 6 only!!!
I have the option of getting a htc sensation phone and a blackberry TORE.I am confused on the one to go for. What's your advise please
The HTC Sensation is a good replacement if your tired of Apple products like my iPhone 4. It's fast and if you use a task killer set to keep the system killed every 30 minutes, turn your screen brightness down, turn off useless things like key click sounds, and don't stuff your phone full of garbage game apps, and keep a good AntiVirus running on it then your battery and your phone will run very well and without any issues. The iPhone has very few issues. How ever, the few it does have. Are the ones that are the most annoying ones. Like it not running flash and screen not repositioning on menu's without a kick in the ass. All phones will have their quirks. My money and happiness at the moment are currently with my HTC Sensation.
PS. Otterbox, please make a god damn Defender case for my HTC Sensation and not the stupid Comuter case only. Thanks.
