Anonymous, 14 Sep 2011Looks odd. No Dual SIM No slider qwerty No stylus input ... outdated.so you'd better go for a chinese trash dude, HAHA
if its specs could be upgraded, maybe 2GB RAM, 16/32/64 GB storage, better screen and display like Super AMOLED or LED-Backlit IPS-SLCD with NOVA Display, DNSE, Retina Display or Clear Black Display, better resolution like 960 x 1704, long-lasting battery, better dual-core processors, and better graphics display
So fustrating that this phone with a few minor tweaks could be the greatest phone ever, give us 1GB RAM and up the internal memory, 1GB is not enough. This phone is stunning in almost every other way.
no NFC, smaller RAm than N9, maybe had an same problem like its 'broter' HTC Sensation (actually the death grip problem), no NVIDIA Tegra2 or TI OMAP 4430 (dual-core processors), and more expensive than Galaxy S2
I have htc sensation. i real love it...it's great.
The same thing with 2 of my friends.
The Sense UI experience is –by far – superior to any other UI.
With the new addition in Sensation XE -especially the audio performance, I think it should be the first option to consider if you would like to buy a Smartphone
is there a typo there?? for sensation
GPRS Up to 114kbps
EDGE Up to 560kbps
but XE 80 kbps for GPRS and 236.8 kbps fir EDGE?
what is the price of the handset HTC Sensation XE,plz reply
cibemerah, 14 Sep 2011RAM only 768? i guess this is better than galaxy note beautifulI think this one might beat Galaxy Note;)
Dave , 14 Sep 2011They better at least make the battery good on this cause the sensation was a joke.you are wrong. my phone charged a day before now 54 % and used surfing and those things updating all mail. i did a charging technique said by htc. now its better than before.
Even now the Galaxy S II is better. The HTC jest works on beauty. GS2 has more ram, the Exynus processor is much more powerful than snapdragon, better screen quality with Super Amoled plus,GS2 is much lighter, the OTG on GS2. Working with GS2 is really amazing.
Joe53, 14 Sep 2011I have Sensation and loving it over my other phones. Sure the XE would be even better. Why her... moreYou're right, the asking price is really high unlocked..
I get why though.. Beats equipment are almost always expensive. Because they generate audiophile quality sound. Personally, I'll probably play the waiting game because my guess is, Beats will probably become the norm for HTC devices and then the prices should start dropping (Probably sooner than you think).
However, Beats audio drivers/software is actually really quite good. IF... HTC could pull off a good translation of Beats audio on a phone.. Its going to be phenomenal.. Can you imagine hooking up your Sennheiser or Shure headphones to mobile phone and actually getting the IDEAL frequency response from them.. From a phone... Shoot.
Depending on the reviews of its audio performance this could single-handedly convert all of the music lovers (who currently own iPhones) to switch in huge numbers..
They better at least make the battery good on this cause the sensation was a joke.
I think this is the real deal. HTC is a great company. I've always liked them for their build quality which is unmatched IMO in the industry. But there were always a couple of caveats in terms of real life performance that they had.
1. CPU chipset choices. Recently though their mobile
chipsets have been very good. Much more competitive
than in the past.
2. Camera. HTC cameras in the past have been known for
being kind of lame but nowadays its vastly superior
to those in the past.
3. Audio qualilty. HTC up to this day never really
excelled in this department. That is until now..
In my experience with HTC, this phone just about covers all the bases. Finally, audio is being taken seriously. I've heard Beats audio, and if its even remotely comparable to what I've heard. Then it would be way better than anything currently on a phone..
Once the battery life is good then its probably going to be better even than dare I say the iPhone 5. (its unreleased.. I know)...
Needless to say, i'm looking forward to this device and in general, to these generation of Beats enabled devices.. Its definitely an ace for HTC..
Its a shame how HTC dont use to put 1GB of RAM on their devices. Every user knows that Sense use a lot of RAM, and without an app that manager this, the smart stays very slow. =(
