HTC Windows Touch UI

Introduction

HTC just unveiled the two latest additions to its lineup of smartphones. Called HTC Windows Phone 8X and HTC Windows Phone 8S, the devices are unsurprisingly powered by the latest version of the Microsoft WP platform.

The HTC Windows Phone 8X takes the role as the company's WP8 flagship, while the 8S is a mid-range device with distinct youthful appeal.

The company's CEO Peter Chou stepped on stage and was later joined by Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer to talk more about the collaboration of two companies on the smartphones. With HTC not having the best of streaks recently and Microsoft doing all it can to extend the Windows Phone market share, it was only logical for two companies' leaders to express their support for the new smartphones.
