please tell me when will this phone be available and how much it will cost cause i'm interested in it
It has one major flaw. One cannot select multiple emails and apply a function to it. You have to open each one, one by one, to delete etc.
It is an ulimate device to use. The device is completing all multimedia requirements and the strangest thing of all is that HTC device is having FM too.
The phone color change option is also appealing with fast inernet browsing speed.
I've seen a couple of comments, as I always do, about this thing be inferior to such and such phone, I cant remember which ones.
What people have to remember here is this is a BUDGET android smartphone. Android, being the newfangled thing of the moment (and therefore rather desirable) is going to be expensive, thats an end of story. But look at all the other Android rivals? all nearing or over £400. This thing can be found for £260 sim free if you look around. Yes its not resistive, however in comparing my tattoo to a Hero i found the tattoo far easier to use. Personal preference on that one really. This phone is the epitome of social networking integration, and of customisability. It may not be quite as powerful as your WinMo superphone, and may not have quite as dazzling a screen as the previous generation androids. however, this is meant to make the unique power and customisability of Android available to people who arent flushed with masses of cash. And I think it's going to do that very well.
As I work for Vodafone I have been able to play with the tatoo a bit and only one word can say how I feel to this mob...WOW....Its so cool and the fact you can make your own cover design for it is great ..I got pics of my family/friends all over my mob...great if you dont have one you dont have a real mobile
I got a Tattoo today to review. It sure is a sweet little device. Just needs to be a bit cheaper band then will do well pre paid//PAYG.
I had never really considered an HTC, but happened to be in a Vodafone store in London and got to play with what I learned after was a Tattoo. I have to say, very very impressed! Lovely phone to hold - a bit small for my hands, so I would never buy one, but for ladies or small fingered guys (young people!) it is perfect. The interface is way better than any other Android device I have used. The photo viewer is better than anything I have seen before. Is this unique to HTC? It has a 3.5mm jack and other 'essentials' too. If it wasn't for the small size, (I find it hard to reach the buttons), I would consider it against the iPhone. (After all, it does more out of the box!)
Uno, 06 Oct 2009Somebody knows the SAR Thanksi would guess less than iphone 3g/3gs bcos touch hd has less SAR than iphone 3g/3gs
This is a cool phone. Maybe SE and Motorola can go and take some lessons from HTC, of how to build a phone that people actually will buy.
r!sta, 30 Sep 2009didn't the say it will be a low priced phone .. around 220€ ?? ... here it says that's around ... moreI don't understand the price difference. I can pre-order it here in the Netherlands (it's not available yet) for under € 300,-
This phone supports Bluetooth file transfer? (Hero does not support it)
What's with the voting results? This is pretty much an all-rounder phone when it comes to functionality.
didn't the say it will be a low priced phone .. around 220€ ?? ... here it says that's around 420€ and I also saw a carrier's ( british I think ) price 460€ somewhere on the web. That's more than twice as price everybody talk about ..
