Details about the hardware of the tablet are scarce, though there is a good chance that it will feature a 7"-8" display. It is all but certain that the device will boot Android.

HTC worked with Google last year to introduce the Nexus 9. Recently, the slate received an update to Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
