Seems like they dropped the soft keys. I wonder why? Maybe its because the screen is one of those harder, finger-friendly ones, like the one on the Prada, SE P1 and iPhone.
@ ex-HTC user
The name of the feature you were looking for is TouchFLO.
This one is probally the best of all. I was almost getting me a Kaiser, but after they released Cruise, with all Kaiser´s features, Im gonna wait a little more. Thats the big question. Some people say it will be available only in early Feb. Press releases say November or Dec. Any idea?
HTC cruise you are very beautiful and usefull i loveeee you and i want to purchase you even your price quite expensive....
@ex HTC user
I think you live in the Star Trek century as you always look down to every device available in the year 2007. Ha ha ha….
How is the wheather there in year 2300...?
You can see from its spec, buddy... there is no new things inside this toys... camera 3 MP ?... almost all new gadgets including those common phone already has it... even now they are better... HSDPA ?... almost all new gadgets have it... GPS ?... you check other brand like Eten... they has it... Processor ?... there are a lot of faster processor than this one... Thin body ?... check all those Korean brand...
Are they combined into one device like this ?... Even normal smartphone also has these capabilites... From Nokia E series, Sony Ericsson P1... other competitor also trying to sell this kind of product...
That's what I mean by unattractive feature... HTC should do better than this one... They should release something new which may attract a user from other brand to buy their product... or to keep a current customer not to look to other brand with better feature...
HTC sucks! The company needs to burn to the ground and its workers need to be killed. This phone has a terrible design and it is like a computer. Why do you need this when you have a laptop! Originally, phones were made for calling other people. Nowadays, phones have become computers are are more complicated to use. This is why we have laptops!
its good, but the width is thick. maybe its cuz of the 3mpcamera... but in all. it will own the iphone.. plus sd2.0 compatable. didnt sandisk come out with a micro sd 4gb and 8gb.. owns iphone no matter what...
Is better 10000% a iPhone!!!
Is more complete:
Quadband, Small, fine, little, 128MB RAM and 256MB ROM, Qualcomm MSM7200,400 MHz processor
Edge,3G,WiFi,HSDPA,Bluetooth,Standard MiniUSB conection,Camera 3,15Mpx and second VGA videocall,FM Radio, Office, Media Player,GPS...and Free apps :-D
Are the Tom Tom maps the full versions, or only the 'city taster' I have seen mentioned? The GPS is less appealling if you have to stump up another c £60 in your home market just to get the benefit of it.
I have P3300, I thought it is the best, but new models from HTC are wonderful. Please do not let us to whait very long...
Toch cruise considered as very good model, but, i need to get the same product with Dual SIM cards, is there any future plan to have HTC products like the cruise with two SIM cards?
if the screen was bigger it would affect the performane of this phone.think about it,bigger screen means more memory used...means opening up applications would take longer.
anyways....from my experience with the HTC Touch - it was cosiderably slow, it responds better without the memory card and a few free-RAM applications.once i slot in a 1G memory card it lags.bought a 2G mem card later on but regretted it because it made the performance worse. Used the 1G mem card in the end.
This was fixed with the HTC Touch Dual by having a faster processor and smaller screen but I dont need the QWERTY keypad. I'd get myself a bluetooth keyboard and have more fun with it.
hopefully with the Touch Cruise all the processor and RAM problems would be fixed. I dont really need the GPS function but what matters is the speed and response. Hopefully this can perform like (or at least) the HTC P3600i even with the Qualcomm processor.
Other features like the camera - I dont think HTC should concentrate too much on the camera aspect as I would prefer a proper camera which has more functions and features. Having a higher MP on a camera phone? Maybe having more functions or features would be better.
(Which is why my 2nd phone is a SE K800i).
My last say would be - need to wait for the phone to be in the market to get the touch and feel. That way I'd know what are the features that lack in the HTC Touch Cruise.
Feature wise its excellent. However, the screen size should've been little bit bigger in my opinion the edges around screen take too much space.
Erm, Ex-HTC user - what do you mean by unattractive features? You've got GPS, 3G, Wi-Fi, 400mhz processor, 3.2mp autofocus camera, pocket office, touchflo interface all in a handset thats 15mm thick.....what exactly do you feel is missing? A Toaster? A lawn mower? A laser beam? Get a grip, the features are incredible for a handset this size.
I think this is a great device from HTC, it has every thing and the design is great. Do any one know when it will be available?!
