Android can be installed on this phone...hass anybody here tried it???? I know that it works on this phone,but i want to knw about the performance once its installed.Anybody here tried it??What all problems are u facing after rooting to android?
Note:android port is available at connect-utb,i have personally downloaded it,but didnt install as i dnt have a diamond yet and i want to buy one.

How to Hard Reset the Rogers Touch Diamond via the hardware buttons
Warning: All data will be permanently deleted from the device during the Hard Reset process!!!
A master reset restores the original factory settings and will erase all downloaded content,
including ringtones, camera images, contacts stored in the handset memory, and Java™ applications.
It does not erase data stored on the SIM card or memory card (if available) although it is best practice
to removed the storage card before performing a Hard Reset. Back up all necessary data on the device
memory before proceeding.
Power the device Off.
Press and hold the Center Navigation Control Key and Volume Down buttons, and at the same time,
press the POWER button once.
Continue to hold the Center Navigation Control Key and Volume Down buttons until you get the Hard Reset
confirmation screen and then press the Volume Up Key to reset the device.
NOTE: Once the Hard Reset has been completed, allow the Automatic Customization process to complete:
failure to do so can cause poor device performance and/or malfunction.

I have been using this phone from past 2 years and its a good phone to go for.
The only negative thing about this would be the battery life, it sucks. I have a apple device and the battery life of that is simply amazing, i suggest HTC to work on the battery thing.
There phone are simply amazing and value for money.
You can buy some android phone from the market as of now as this phone used OS - windows which is now virtually non existing

zakee, 08 May 2011i want to purchase this phone...can i proceed. can any one suggest me to purchase it or notSincerely, I'm an user of HTC Touch Diamond and I can't recommend it to anyone. It has Windows Mobile 6.1 and you can't upgrade it, you can't find interesting apps for this version of Windows Mobile and the battery is weak. I would recommend you to buy an Android phone, a cheap but good one like Samsung i550 or S5570.

I used Htc diamond quite some time, recently the phone back side seem like burning after run some program. as before not such problem. anyone can help?
