this phone beats iphone in almost every way. from its faster processor, to its smaller and lighter size, to the fact it has a better OS and bluetooth.
to top it all off, this phone came out before iphone was officially announced, and basically, iphone is just a slightly lower version of this. look up ur facts before u post

wally, 10 Jun 2008is any one know where i can find htc diamond with arabic language in uae?I don't think it's available in Arabic yet. As much as I heard, they are getting in the new software by end June/ early July.

I really don't understand why this is being called "The iPhone Killer." especially now that it has 3G, it beats this in almost every way.

why does it say GSM 850 / 1800 / 1900 for Americas if they are not going to make it for US? I heard that Verizon or Tmobile might take this in.

could you tell me what the screen on the diamond is like when used outside in direct sunlight. its the only thing stopping me from getting it. is it severly affected.

I just got the HTC Touch Diamond over the weekend and it's NOT slow at all. The interface is very innovative and very smooth.
The only downside I can argue is the hassel to input music in the internal storage and the battery life. Maybe even the lack of the 3.5mm jack isn't that great either but thank goodness for A2DP headphones ;).
The touchscreen honestly is comparable to the iPhone (I owned both) and it's MUCH MUCH better than the TYTN II (had that too).
Overall it's a very solid phone and it looks REALLY good.
BUT I think the price is a tad expensive for it, but hey it just released and might be going down in the near future when iPhone 2.0 (which I think everyone will have due to price T-T) and Touch Pro coming out very soon.
