to YocA: the video resolution reach vga, but i dont know how many fps it have
i am scared of the 2.8 screen,is small??? because i have a zune whit a 3.2 screen and the screen size is exelent, and then i have a nokia n91 and i think the screen is too small, is 2.8 enoguh for this device can someone give me an opinion, thanks!
Why are so many people here disappointed that this device can only display 65,000 colours? I know Nokia say their devises have 65m colours, but with a 320x240 display, you only have 70,000 pixels to display them with.
Is this simply HTC using different terminology to everyone else? A few years ago graphics chips would, for example, have a palet of 65m, but only be able to display 65k on screen at one time.
Does anyone know what the deal is with mobile phones?
Personally, I'm guessing that having double the resolution of my current N95 will make the screen on this device impressive enough to warrant an upgrade.
Now I have HTC Touch.
Will undoubtedly change it for this one. Best phone out there - in my oppinion. Hardlly awaiting:).
$868 usd with free shipping
but it is too exp will have to wait.....
to VS: 4Gb should be more than enough yes thats true, "the largest memory cards readily available at the moment are the same size anyway" thats Bull Sh.t they reach 16gb and the 32 gb are coming, but the part of the iphone, is true, the iphone is a powerfull calculator that can make calls jajaja
How can you say that privacy it´s irrelevant?
do you think it´s impossible that someone take for example, photos that they dont want you/anybody to see? or even "classified" doc from work, like economy, sales etc. charts, of a company, it may be nothing but can also be a bad thing, dont you agree?
And you made a point about lossing data if the phone fails, i agree.
The only issue with this phone might be if the processing power wouldn't be enough to support the full VGA resolution of the screen. It seems like a well rounded device in every other respect though. With regard to some of the previous comments: the "no flash mistake" has nothing to do with the device itself, it is a matter of the Operating System (Windows Mobile 6.1). Memory-wise, 4Gb should be more than enough for any type of usage, and even if the phone had a card slot, the largest memory cards readily available at the moment are the same size anyway. The earlier comment about the privacy seems to be irrelevant, since the main risk with content on a cell phone is losing the device itself, not sending it back to the manufacturer for some sort of maintenance.
As far as comparing this device to the iPhone, it is like comparing a modern day laptop with a calculator, the iPhone being the calculator. Unless you are one of the Apple fanboys, willing to put up with all the B/S that is.
I can't wait for this phone to be available in my country!!I own a htc touch dual and i love it so much!Never give me problem!
What on earth are you talking about.."we'll have to wait to compare it to the Iphone 3g"
I just don't understand why..apple made a great media playing device that had some 3rd rate telephone functionality throw in as a n after thought and everyone runs out to use it as a measuring stick by which to asses other mobile devices...had you given any other proven device and then held off judgement upon hearing a new version was to be released then fair enough..but if their last an done and only so far iphone is anything to go by, then then next one in line shouldn't be used to compare anything but the oldest bit of kit..the iphone (slick interface aside) was old and tired before it even came out (technologically)
to those who are saying 4Gb it more than nedded, i agree.
but not have card slot it is bad if you have a problem! something you dont want anybody to see, in case of mobile goes to HTC simple take off de card, without it some of your deepest secrets will be revealed... :)
I think this little Htc will rock! Can't wait for it to come out, although I'll keep my Viewty next to it for easy movie playback and the camera. I'll ditch the Viewty when the Experia arrives :)
