The device is good in design, but cannot be considered for upgradation of memory - No memory slot. It really matters if we work and use it a lot.
Also, GPS wise it has a lack.. the battery also should have been good, similar to Touch Cruise or jut previous one, TytnII.
Look wise the phone is really nice!

In Youtube, HTC Diamond seems to be pretty fast. A few stuffs, I don't like are no 3.5 headphone jack, a small battery, a funny shape at the back and no memory card slot.
Other than that, HTC dimond is great.

why cant they put in the freaking memory card slot for this one? its just a optional thing, be it 4gb internal mem, but its good to trasnfer files from one phone to another using memory card..

iPhone actually is fast due to it's fast processor and it's tiny applications.
On the other hand, HTC diamond looks a lot better than iphone. It is also smaller and will be much faster than previous HTC smart phones. The speed compare to iPhone? Well, we will only know, when it comes out.
In term of functionality, iPhone can't compare to HTC diamond at all. For example, typing in iPhone is really a pain when it comes to numbers and characters combination. Moreover, it has no context menu system like, WM devices have. WM OS works a lot more productive and faster to do anything while iPhone does everything one by one.
iPhone becomes extremely hot when you talk for a while. When iPhone freezes, it's impossible to reset, can't take the battery out while WM devices can be easily reset or changed the battery.
HTC diamond has a ton of features and iPhone only has features probably from 5 years ago.

to roy. yes, the iphone still has a faster UI than this phone, but i don't think that this phone's UI is slow either, just not as fast as the iphone. i think this phone has more to offer than the iphone. it's a smartphone after all, while the iphone is not. this phone will gain popularity, but i hope not as much as the iphone because i want to get this phone and I don't want this phone to be very common like the iphone =)

to tahsin: 128mb is the pre-model, maybe in the final model it cuold be 192mb, read more reviews in internet before posting

you know no company came even close beating Iphone just for one reason, and one reason only. The speed.
If you watch the hands-on videos of HTC diamond on youtube(or any other HTC model) the graphics look great as long as they stay steady! once you start "sliding your fingers" over the screen it freezes up! constantly!

Actually, IO think that this phone is gonna be a HUGE competition for the iPhone !
They copied the accelerometer, touch flo, etc.
BUT they have a 3.2 MP Camera which is better than the iPhone.
iPhone is gonna have to step it up and bring something AMAZING on the market.

obviously the prism style has been taken from nokia htc diamond but it still has an awsome shape both practical and aesthetic..design:10 its specifications are great with the only problem,as i believe, being the slightly poor internal memory..features:9 the performance as concidering the different promotion videos is excellent.great processor and rom..performance:10 generally this mobile is one of the top 5 of this year..propably the only competitors are nokia n96 and of course xperia
