well, its realy a nice phone and a good competitor to iphone!
its better than iphone in :
1) more functionality "3g,has mms, video recording, gps and fm radio"
2) better disply resolution" 640*480 vga" on a 2.8 in. secreen will look more sharpe than iphone`s one " but only 65k colors when iphone support 16mil. color like nokia`s"
3) over all better camera than iphone" depending on the latest htc touch cruise camera"
4) smaller and sleeker than iphone
5) better support and applications than iphone.
Iphone is better in:
1) bigger display and better image color" but
may be not that different coz the htc has
better resolution and, this effect will
multiply the 65k color several times to the
human eye and the overall experience will be
better than a 16 mil. color with much lower
resolution the iphone has" i.e the resolution
is what realy matters the most not the color.
2) overall touch interface is better in the
iphone, but htc is realy coming close.
bottom of the line, htc diamond is for high
tech people who use every little bit of the
device and cant live without functionalities!
but the iphone is still the most fun to use
touch phone even it needs a serious boost
coz the competion has never been so high
befor the announcement of the htc diamond.
finally a windows pocket pc device that not only looks good but also fits in ur pocket.
Can anyone tell me what's the difference in the software between the HTC TyTN II and this the Touch Diamond please..... Cause first i was going to buy the TyTN first due it is a PDA and now i found that the Diamond is very interesting. Can the Touch Diamond do the same functions as the TyTN II?? Thanks!!
i have been a htc fan for a very long time and this phone looks the business....
This phone looks really promising. Unbelievable design, unusual for HTC in my opinion. Kind of resembles a Zune I think. I hope that theres support for a more powerful battery. Everything else seems great on paper, but people say the iPhone keypad is cramped and its a 3.5" screen, wonder how many will complain about this one? I also feel the screen could be atleast 3.5" being its all touch. Call me a fanboy but I'm spoiled by the iPhones bigger screen, and I hope that windows mobile will run adequately. 4GB should be enough for me considering ive only used a about 3GB on my iPhone.
1. how is this device diffrent or superior than apple iphone.
2. build in gps with a-gps
3. when will this be avalable in india
Checked no camera flash! How can this be justified. Surely a MAJOR deficiency?
dedicated camera button
check out pics on below link
anyone pls clear my doubt. what is the differences between a Built-in GPS and SiRF StarIII GPS?
The design is good and HTC did a good job.
The built in 4 GB is good enough, but when life runs, need of an extra slot will obviously come up ! The battery life is lesser, so GPS use should not be much with the phone, unless its plugged in..
Overall its good and a real good design - more beautiful we can say!
Its having qwerty keyboard like iphone, i believe this is much better than iphone. IPhone is too much sensitive phone, I ever had. It just dropped once and screen gone and cost me USD-200. There are number other bugs in Iphone anyways...this phone is worth buying.
it got a flash, listen to : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HOGo_BtQFvI
Dont mean to be such a newb about this, but do I need internet access for the GPS on this mobile to work? And I guess it comes with a built in maps?
Ok, someone please tell me if this phone will have a qwerty pad to text. at least something like the iPhone it's main competitor at this moment.
If you have an answer other than the HTC -Raphael (Which is for Sprint) please share and if there is a video even better.
