Of course, LIKE OTHER Windows Mobile device, it needs some tweaking, modding, upgrade here and there. The best resource so far is this forum:
The possibility is almost limitless as to what you can do with the device. In short, the device is not for lazy people.
i'm experiencing a problem of Zooming in/out when i browze through internet and I don't know whether the problem is with the phone or settingz.

After the guaranty periode was over the earphone stop working, I had to use the phone loadspeaker to listen conversation,....touchscreen does'nt work properly, low capacity battery,... never ever I'm going to buy HTC products again.
I got a very bad experience with the Touch Diamond after 1 year of using it and it has been completed with the very bad treatment from the maintenence in Egypt. the mother board needed to be changed and i do believe that this action should be done from the 1st month of buying it as there was an error in the USB connector and they changed the usb and now they are telling me that i have to pay half of the device's price to change the mother board because of the miss use, as they suggest may be the device fell down or got a high electricity which is somnething out of anyone's control. i'm very upset and i would advice everyone in egypt not to buy HTC brand.
Anonymous, 01 Dec 2009The XPeria might be bigger and nicer... but i wont last too long, because its a Sony Ericsson ... moreFor your information, Xperia is made by HTC. Of course, you won't find the name HTC in the device because it's branded and marketed as Sony Ericsson's product.
idee, 26 Nov 2009If u have to choose between SE Xperia X1 & this HTC,what would it be?The XPeria might be bigger and nicer... but i wont last too long, because its a Sony Ericsson windows phone.

These days i charge it ever 4 days, and original batteries on ebay are only 6 euro. :)
It's fast, when you turn off the beam and other stuff.
As well as what this phone can do, its absolutely great! It does everything! I wouldnt suggest the iphone 3G, because my father has it and he is not happy with it. And he has it only for few months. The battery doesnt last too long... it has a VERY BAD COVERAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! absolutely shi* !!
And the software freezes sometimes...
Overall I would suggest the HTC diamond, because I have a very good experience of it.

hi i will like to learn of what material the screen made up of is it a plastic or glass or any scratch proof material ?
overall its a good investment better than other phones and very nice design
thers no phone devoid of problems
To me this is a poor phone - I have had it for almost 16 months now, and really cannot wait to change it on the new contract - quite simply the touch screen is extremely poor, unresponsive, laggy and too small to use fingers to type a message with - you have to use the stylus, which is a right pain. On the plus side there is plenty of software for this phone available, but it does not justify buying it based on the range of software - from my experience stay away.
