The one time I got my hands on this phone, the only drawback I could see was Text Messaging. It appears it can't go landscape - and therefore could not get a one character per button format in large enough font to use without a stylus. Did I miss an option - is it possible? The two character button qwerty format is a hybrid I'm not real fond of. Thoughts?

Anonymous, 09 Oct 2008i am having trouble setting an mp3 as a ringtone.please help.Okay, this is how you do it. On the homescreen, touch programs( the one on the bottom of the screen. here you have a few empty slots. Touch of the those slots and add mp3 trimmer. Now all you have to do is open mp3 trimmer, tap open to find the MP3 file in your phone. Tap menu now to select to whether set the file as the default ring tone or save the file to the ring tone folder. I hope this helps you
To put the mp3 as ring go to settings - sounds & notification - notifications - Event = phone: Incoming call | Ring tone= "the music you want must be at music folder to be listed"
so atm i have a Nokia 5300 and im considering getting this phone, is it worth the $600 price tag?
Im considering this phone, however my only concern is the keypad. I tried to HTC touch last year and you could only really text on it using the stylus pen. The keypad layout was so small, it made it really difficult and it was very time cosuming. Can anyone let me know what the texting is like on this phone . HF
