HTC Touch Diamond - user opinions and reviews

Well I've been looking into this phone for about a week now. I live in Canada and am looking to purchase one as it comes out. I've looked through tons of reviews and seen positive and negative feedback. The only negative things stated are that sometimes the TouchFlo 3D lags if many applications are running, the gloss back leaves fingers prints and that the battery life is short. Everything else about the phone is good. So if you are looking to buy it you should because it seems awesome and I am also buying it.

I bought this phone recently. I use it on AT&T. I am very disappointed with this phone.
1. This phone drops call in the area I never had problem before.
2. Touch screen is very slow and sometimes it opens programs you never indented to. You have to scroll or touch button very very slowly and hold them.
3. processor seems to be very slow. may be due to touchflo GUI.
I had no other choice but to put it in ebay (If anyone wanna but it, it is for sale on ebay)

Very good phone only if you turn off touch flo3d which is the key feature in its design.
With this feature off the phone is very fast and effective.
If you want this phone for the looks you will be totally dissapointed.
If you want this phone for its processing capabilities and mail its a very good phone plus its slim.
Dont use its full internet feature unless you install a good antivirus.For this windows version bullguard is the most suitable.

my sis got her htc diamond after my the other friend got his . after my sis bought her daimond few weeks , we realized that the front cover was not flat and smooth at all....
it is actually after the HTC words near to the nevigation , both the side was not flat...at fisrt she thought it was suppose to be like that ...but when she compare it with my other friend...it was not ...when i knew about it ....i look at some others of my few friends their also have a bit of it ....but my sis's htc diamond condition is worse than theirs....
we feedback this to the HTC customer service but nothing was done till today....
my advise to those who want to buy this modal please check properly the surface purchase ...for those who had bought it pls check ur surface if it is flat .
It is really a good phone but the disappointing part is they never did their QC properly for their cosmetic defects.
FYI: the above phones are all bought in one of the Asia country.

Does anyone know how to upgrade the firmware. If I go onto the website and type in the serial number it tells me no updates are avaliable. my ROM version is 1.37.405.1 WWE ROM date is 12th June 2008 is this the latest?
