one of the best phones i own so far. sluggish issues and battery life can be further "fixed" by updating the stock rom.

The screen scratches easily. Protect it. Buy a protective film (bodyguardz). It's only $14 online. It's scratchproof and should last a long time, and you get two of them also.

Well I bought HTC touch diamond last week. Im totally disappointed with the battery life. The other thing is that im still confused about GPS. when we compare touchpro there is buit in GPS receiver. But in diamond there is not any receiver for GPS.

well diz one'z gonna b launched by airtel in india wid a price tag between Rs.26000 n Rs.28000..well as far as m concerned i wud rather wait for sony xperia n thn compare bth n decide d one to go wid!! cheerz.

i am using it the same way i was using p3300 and others HTC phones which the b... morewell, if i'm not mistaken the touch diamond is the only htc phone with 900mAh battery, meaning shorter life than the others (cmiiw)..
let see it from the different angle pal, maybe they use that tiny battery to keep it's slimness..
but htc also have announced extra battery for diamond (1350mAh)..
so if u don't mind to make ur diamond thicker a little, then the battery life problem would be solved..

What the F with You people???? How can You tell that the some device is bad or good if You have it only for One Day or Two?? Hmmm.. I can't... You All said that the Diamond is a crap whe is Out Of The Box? He??? I don't know the device that is'int...
It's quite normal because device must be Stable, then are some customers test and then new Firmware or Software are released...
When you buy new Mainboard for your computer month later you have New Bios Firmaware upgrade.... the same is with DVD burners, video cards etc.
Thats why ATI or INVIDIA makes new drivers FOR BETTER PERFORMANCE OF YOUR GRAPHIC DEVICE.. The same things is with phones... Before Dimond i have a lots of smartphones in exemple nokia n70 -> i flash the new firmware 2 times and gets better performance in album hymmm.. same things in N93i and others...
So HTC give You New ROM 1.94 in exemple.. So get Update, get fun with Dimond for 2 weeks AND then give Your Opinion on it...
Ps. BTW htc devices are for PRO users and not kids friendly so if you want get device just to show your friends buy iPhone 3G, its with a crap features but it will works great Out Of The Box :)) but nothing more... useless like the old one :))

This phone shouldn't be sold at all, too damn slow and battery life suck! crash out of the box. Call the Guinness world record, I sold it after less then 24hrs!

coz mine is not that short as yours..
maybe u use the power consuming features all the time..
