This device rocks! Soooo much better than the iPhone. iPhone hype is making people make a bad decision with there purchases. The iPhone is limited in many features compared to the Diamond! The Diamond is a winner for me. Best phone in a long time. I have used both!

My opinion on Touch Diamond, purely personal of course:

The good:
+ ideal proportins and weight
+ excellent stylus implementation
+ Touch FLO
+ good camera
+ GPS, Wifi
+ rich feature pack
+ MS Office docs editor

The bad:
- weak battery
- poor design (fingerprint magnet)
- poor music player (no 3.5mm jack, can't use quality headphones)
- paint starts to wear off quickly (on the back panel)
- no memory card slot
- no trackball

I have been reading this site for ages whilst considering buying a Diamond. (I did the same for my HTC TyTn II). It is available as an upgrade from Vodafone in the UK. I'm an every day business user - not a tech kind of guy. I was very nearly put off by all the comments on here - so many negatives but I decided to give it a punt.

At first I hated the phone, took a few hours to get used to but later in the day, the phone, it's functions and how to use became second nature and it is the best phone I have ever used, by a country mile. I would imagine that someone who has never used Windows Mobile might struggle with it for a bit longer.

I love the look and feel of the device, the software and the lack of the keyboard that i enjoyed with the TyTn II. OK, touchflo is a tad slow but it adds to the smoothness of it, a very nice way to work generally. Data imput by on screen full qwerty is great even using fingers and not the stylus.

The only real disapointment is the battery however I went into this eyes open know that would be an issue so how can one complain about it? I understand there is an extended battery which will increase the depth of the device, so I will be looking at buying one.

As an everyday business user that wants a very smart device and easy connectivity to exchange server, this is a great great device!

this handy is the best ( after 3 days using it)
what is good
+the best screen resolution ever seen (better than the iphone) I owe both !
+You tube has a super quality better than the one iphone has
+TomTom7 and Navigon both are working super !
+Google earth is so good
+Video resolution can not compare it with any other handy (Super quality)

what is negative
+ bad battery life (but not that bad as some wrote before)
+ a little bit slow
+sound is not so loud (ringtones or video) but with the headset is awsome quality
+you feel is getting hot when recharging it or when using it for a long time but during calls is not !

Finally i want to say that i love this handy and i am not getting sad selling my iphone because of it (The best handy i ever had)

I got the phone a few days back. The screen looks excellent. Touchscreen works flawlessly using only my thumb. It's eye-candy + functionality in a WM6.1 device. I got no complaints yet.
Those of you who want to upgrade their rom can go to www.xda-developers.com
