Top of the line this one.
ill be honest, when i first got this i was very unsure about it. it crashed ALOT and was so stupidly slow it annoyed the hell out of me so i just kept using my 6300. last night i went onto xda-dev forums and flashed the ROM. now i cant stop playing with it, definately well worth the money. its all about polishing this gem up, my only problem with it is the battery life. lets just say its not brilliant.
I want to buy new touch screen phone. Which is the best one without having complain?Needed features - window suport, WLAN, EDGE or 3G. Please mail me if you can recommend any models. Really thanks to GSM Areana. My mail - firstname.lastname@example.org

Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970You are not making sense. Most of the consumer complaints on this phone are valid. This phone does have major issues. Some of us don't have time to figure out how to fix its bugs. That does not make us fools. Smartphones should be easy to use. This phone is easy to use. That is not the problem. The problem is its erratic performance and behavior. What's foolish is, why did they release this phone with so many bugs in it? Sorry, but some of us busy professionals don't have time like you do to look for upgrades. We just want a smartphone that works.
Is the ROM update only for making European models 850 MGH or can it make North American models work with 900 MGH? Please can someone tell me....THanks

I just got my phone today. It was shipped from Taiwan. Upon receiving it, I thought I could change the main language to English, however I am finding incredibly hard to do so. It only lets me change the country for the phone, but that's about it. I've emailed HTC about the problem and have no heard back from them. Just wondering if anybody knows how to change the main language from Chinese to English. .. . because at this moment in time, I can't even use it! =(
toink, 18 Jul 2008newbie here! how will i know the firmware version of my diamond?start->setting->system->device information..
u will see the rom version (firmware), radio version (gsm kinda things), etc...
which part that doesnt meet the performance it says ? could u tell me ?
coz "for me", my diamond's performance meets what it says.
All those who bought Diamond, you must appreciate that you didn't buy Omnia. The touch response sucks and the touch is mor than touch...you have to press a bit harder at times.
What I myself would like to know is When the North American version with GSM 850 and HSDPA 850/1900 is going to be available. I need to get back to a device with a true smartphone OS. My Nokia N95-4 is a stellar device but there are certain apps that make my life a hell of a lot better that run on WinMo and even the Palm OS.
