Anonymous, 01 Jan 1970Hey Fred.
The Touch Diamond 2 will be available in Singapore from mid-May to end-June and will officially retail for around $725 to $880 USD (so you can just do the conversion to Indonesian Rupiah).
If Indonesia has any official HTC retailers, they may get it the same time as Singapore. But if not, it may get delayed by a few months.

Actually, I don't think the Touch Diamond 2 is available yet in Asia. Singapore, which is a big tech-hub, is still expecting it mid-May to early June.
And yes, I saw other sites with pictures of the stylus mechanism on the Touch Diamond 2. There is a built-in stylus, but it is not magnetic like the first Diamond and the quality doesn't look as good.

Poor HTC, we've expected VGA at 30 fps!

The only interesting thing in the diamond 2 so far is the VGA video recording camera.
Diamond 2 interface is alot better than the HD, so if you're going to buy the HD you have to go to www.duttythroy.net to install the Diamond 2 Rom and more add-on to make it even better than the Diamond 2.
You also might want to check the Touch HD battery from amazon.co.uk. Its cheap and has 1500mAh.
Touch HD is more expensive than the Diamond 2.. The diamond 2 is cheap because it won't compete with the phones like the first diamond did last year..
Is there a built-in magnetic stylus slot like the first Diamond? I don't see any pictures of it. I was wondering if the stylus dangles off of the device like the Samsung Omnia i900.
Also, does anyone have any idea is the price package in Asia (at least in Singapore) includes a microSD card and what size the card is?
Also, what is the current prie range for this device now?
Really considering getting either the Touch HD, Omnia, or the Diamond 2. So far the Diamond 2 has the best specs to suit my needs (smaller size compared to Touch HD and longer battery life), and has the HTC interface (better than Samsung Omnia I think).
I would appreciate some replies as I would be making my purchase over the next 3 days.

why u said omnia worst PDA?
have u tried omnia? my friend bought HTC(diamond)...
... moreYour friend bought an HTC and was disappointed because it was slow? So there was something wrong with the software not with the Diamond. Don't confuse software with hardware.. My diamond run faster than anything out there, you have to choose cooked Rom or updated offical roms..
Omnia is something else, don't compare Symbian with windows.. 2 different categories..
Usually GSMARENA.com would post the review for the phone way prior to the release date. so what is the deal with this one!?
