the only bad two things are , they didn't put flash for the camera and they took the keys and wheel which were on touch diamond 1,,
this shape is better than diamond 1 too
If I were HTC I'd probably get rid of the zoom bar to make the screen larger... double tap for zooming works ok for me!
SS, 29 Mar 2009The price brackets for Diamond2 and HD are different. Diamond 2 is available for pre-order at ... moreYou have a point there.. But, compare both, why would you buy the diamond2? Diamond2's software interface is already available for the HD, Plus the price tags aren't right in this website.. The HD is around 300 - 400 Euros now.. Google it..
Jonas Blane, 28 Mar 2009I can't agree with you even if i try to.. The Price on the HD will fall as soon as the Diamond... moreThe price brackets for Diamond2 and HD are different. Diamond 2 is available for pre-order at 450 EUR, while HD costs about 580 EUR (that's a 130 EUR difference!). You see, even if they drop the price for HD, it is hard to imagine that it will cost as low as Diamond2. I think, if you consider HD to be a bit too large for daily comfortable usage, then you are better off with Diamond2, which will cost less than HD.
Why is it called Diamond 2? Atleast the first one looked like a diamond from the back.. And from the specs, i'd say this isn't worth it.. HD rules!!
I stil cant believe that a taiwan company can hav alot of western intelligent youths foold for so long.for heaven sake its dsame qualcomm cpu.model after model.damn!
SS, 21 Mar 2009Everyone that says "Touch HD is better", go buy Touch HD! If you look close at both phones, yo... moreI can't agree with you even if i try to.. The Price on the HD will fall as soon as the Diamond 2 is out.. So who's stupid enough to buy the diamond 2???
TOUCH HD is even thinner - 12mm compared to 13.7mm on this one! Why the heck did Diamond 2 get thick?
Well, bigger screen but same resolution in HD - thats why quality is better in Diamond2
Everyone that says "Touch HD is better", go buy Touch HD! If you look close at both phones, you will see that they are almost identical in terms of specs, except that Touch HD has bigger screen. The reason many people are interested in this phone is that they consider Touch HD too big to carry comfortably everyday in their pocket (and possibly the price of Touch HD is just a bit too high for them as well). So, they wish to have this format, but they miss still a few features: the so convenient 3.5 mm audio jack (that HTC has magically implemented in Touch HD), camera flesh (look at the popularity of Samsung or SE camera phones), TV out (hell yea, I want to watch those films on a large TV), better battery (partially addressed here, compared to Diamond 1. Still, we want the one in Touch HD!). So, all things considered, the choice between Diamond 2 and Touch HD depends on your preferences. If you don't mind the large size of HD (or even prefer that gorgeous large screen), then go for it! Otherwise, Diamond 2 can be one of your choices to consider. For me, both phones are still not perfect to rush and buy...
Touch HD Rules!!! And will keep kicking ass for the rest of the year!!!
If only this device had a 3.5mm jack... and a 3.8" display... Hey!!! Doesn't the Touch HD have the same specs and the 3.5mm jack and 3.8" display? Hell, I'm still going for the HD!!
HTC TOUCH HD IS TILL THE WINNER!!!
For the following features:
- Bigger Screen
- 3.5mm audio jack
- Battery Life
