I want to install some Tweaks on my HTC like:
"HD Tweak 0.5.4_English"
"Advanced_Configuration_Tool_v3.3"
"gyrator"
1. are they safe for my HD ?,is anybody used them on his device? are they going to make other problems for phone ?
2. sorry this Qs might looks so basic but how can I instal them on my HD , I already download those .CAB and .ZIP files ?
3. what is that "Microsoft.NET Compact Framework 3.5"
should I install it on my PC or my HD ? and what dose it do with installing process should I install it first on my HD then istal those .CAB and .ZIP files ?
looks so basic but appriciate any guidance

Anthony, 14 May 2009if you using vista, you need to install "Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1" active sync is for... morehi there. i already have windows mobile 6.1 installed and i'm trying to connect my HD thru it. it shows connected and recognizes the device, i can browse my files from it but it just doesn't sync or has it synced already????...............OR maybe my active sync is also running at the same time and usually shows sync failed. i don't know if this theory is right. maybe i should just ignore it and focus on windows mobile 6.1 and see what happens. i said earlier that i tried to connect using active sync or USB on my touch HD, not on the computer. forgive me , i'm a newbie. but i LOVE the touch HD and can't wait to learn more about the techs of winmo.

Maps cache is limmited, i think to about 2Mb by Google somehow. No known work around that I could find either.

are there any hacks for google map so when you download an area you wouldn't have to download it ever again unless you want to. I don't want it trying to connect for an area if bean already.

I am happy it works well for you - gives me hope that when CPW finally replace it for me, I also start enjoying the phone! ;)
It's waiting in the box till then as it was too annoying an unreliable to use. Obviously it's a faulty example..
Just one comment to your post - I actually did update the ROM with the latest 1.56.00 or so from htc website - but it made no difference whatsoever (see my previous post).

I have flash... moreThanks Matt! I just did it! Used the oficial ROM update from HTC's page. It's working fine, cant tell any diff so far. Looking forward to sync with my car device and see if bluetooth works fine.
