I'm intending to buy HD but after I saw HTC pro 2, I'm not sure to wait ... moreThe two phones are more or less the same. I think the main decision to be made is if you want a key pad or if you are happy to use touch screen.
There are a few minor software changes on TP2 but nothing major. (See youtube).

To close completly use the task manager (top right on homepage). However, you will only be charged data on new web pages you open so if you dont end the application you will not be charged while it is running in the background.

Mehedi, 01 May 2009i am going to buy this phone?i have some questions can any one answer them? 1.do u like the m... moredefenately better than iphone. battery life is very good for an 3,8' screen phone and it takes about 3-4 hours to fully charge it. well about the music quality i m not the best to answer. speaker volume is a bit lower than my previous SE k800 but it doesnt trouble me

Dear all HTC fans:
I'm intending to buy HD but after I saw HTC pro 2, I'm not sure to wait or not.
After comparing the 2 phones, both are almost the same but Hd has a better camera and 3.5mm jack. Pro 2 has TV out and keyboard.
Are there any other differences?

can someone please give me a step by step guide to getting the touch diamond2 software on... moreIts hard to explain step by step but this will do:
1- Download HardSPL and install to unlock your phone with Active sync (Read instructions in forum)
2- Download any rom based on (Rhod/Topaz) which is Diamond 2 rom (I recommend Dutty 3.1 SHIP)
3- After installing the rom, you might want to hard reset again (Format) to have better results.

limo, 01 May 2009i want to know if windows mobile 6.5 released or not for the HDWindows 6.5 will be officially out on the 11th of this month.. Some are already using it but it's not 100% full yet.. So i recommend you wait, Maybe it will come out as an official upgrade for the HD.. otherwise get a cooked one.. Basically the same..

love , 01 May 2009morgon , u mean we have to spend lot of time on tweaking n 3rd party applications, as u said t... moreOnce you buy the phone and aren't satisfied with your preferences, you then tweak or add 3rd party apps, which takes about 2-3 days (based on search) until you're absolutely satisfied with your system. Then use it all the way to whenever a new Rom version comes out 3-6 months. So the Headache part is only at the beginning.. Guys like me enjoy installing Custom (cooked) ROMs and 3rd party apps in a weekly basis.. That's where you know how powerful windows Mobile is.. :)
And someone with your profession really needs Windows Mobile..

Win... moremorgon , u mean we have to spend lot of time on tweaking n 3rd party applications, as u said to avoid head ache buy omnia hd. Can symbian satisfy my needs that is Readind n editing word doc, pdf, ppt, excel etc. Using fring or skype for internet viop voice chatting. Plz clarify i m soon going to buy any one of the two.

Otherwise buy the omnia hd and save your energy and get less headaches, i really recommend it..
