                    Hi Confused,

In my experience, the Touch HD is definitely HTC's best phone. The Google G1 is a phone with lots of potential, and it's open source so in the future it will be great, as for now though, its still in development and has very limited functions, I wouldn't recommend it. The HTC Touch Diamond is a very nice looking phone, and has much the same features that the HD would have though it's in a smaller version, which makes it a bit harder to type, especially since the Diamond has no physical keyboard. It is very stylish, but again, for a touchscreen, its screen is not large enough, if you like the Diamond's design, you may want to go with the Touch Pro which has a similar design, though it is thicker, but it does habe a full physical QWERTY keyboard for faster typing. The Nokia 5800 is a great multimedia phone, but not one to be used for business, and well given the job that you do, and your request for it to be as hard working as you, this may not be that type of phone. The 5800 is great for music, pictures, and video, also surfing the internet can be ok, but not for spreadsheets, word, etc. For the winner, the HTC Touch HD, it's Windows Mobile so there are many programs available for it, it's very stylish and has a very attractive design, it has a whopping 800X480 resolution(allows more objects to be displayed on screen) so it makes it easier to view files, etc. The HD's multimedia functionality is phenomenal, it has a great MP3 player, many more you can download online, you are also able to play high quality movies with it, especially because of its giant resolution, and not to mention it's camera which has a high quality(at least for a cell phone) 5mp camera, for great pictures. It's battery life is also good, its business potential is also great, it has microsoft word, powerpoint, one note, etc. It is a bit pricey but it definitely worth it, you decide.

                    Demetrio

Before you try to install any other thing you should install Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 on your PC with your phone plugged in to it with active sync running. ActiveSync will give your phone the parts of the installation it needs. When you are done with that let me know. By the way, what OS are you running, Windows vista or XP? Hi, I am looking to by a touch screen phone but i do not know which is best. I do not have a price limit as i would like the best of the best. The phones of which i would like to buy are the "HTC TOUCH HD", "HTC TOUCH DIAMOND", "GOOGLE'S G1" and the "NOKIA 5800". The reason as to why i have commented on this particular phone forum is because this is the phone which i think is best. However, i am not a technology genious so i need help! I am head lawyer in one of the Uk's best law firms so therefore i will need a phone that will work as hard as me. . .And don't tell me to get the "Blackberry" as i do not like that phone and i know this because my sister has got this phone. I want a phone that will entertain me in the courtroom when the other lawyer is ranting on . . .Lol..not really but i do need a phone with a good camera, a good MP3 player and good entertainment facilities. If anyone can help me or even name me a phone that will suit my needs, please do not hesitate to comment.

                                    Thank You
