can someone show how to upgrade my HD to window mobile 6.5? thank you. i downloaded Miri WM65 21889 :: Manila 2.5 :: V 18.0 from htcpedia to my phone but it doesn't work. please help

mangesh, 20 Jan 2010yes i installed same rom version whch you described.go for it.it is fast and stable.Sorry for bothering you. Once I try to flash the rom I get the Error:(260) connection. It says please check that your USB is connected properly to the PC and phone????????? You know how to fix this???

first of all install active sync drivers with the help of manual cd ,which is given with the box of htc hd.after succesful installation, check out the rom version of hd.it must be hspl 1.59,cause you are using dutty's rom.that means your phone dosen't need hard spl.half job is done,before flashing to another rom backup your data with pimback or any other services,flashing erase your all data.check out the htcpedia site,register your account and goto rom forum,choose your rom,but new rom must have version 1.56 or 1.59. download it to your pc,unzip it you'll get RUU file in it,just connect your phone to pc in sync mode and run RUU and follow the instructions.job is comleted now it'll take 15 minutes to flash a new rom.
The phone itself restart.before enjoying new rom dont forget to do hard reset twicely.

mangesh, 12 Jan 2010i flashed my hd with miri wm 6.5 21889 manila 2.5 .its more stable and faster.thanks a lot,since i am beginner in this (bought phone flashed already) can you send me any sample o how to flash the HD? i can not connect my phone with PC via Active Sync. When i connect phone via USB it charges but PC does not recognize it. any help??? i would be grateful. can not stand this batery issue because of dutty
