I wasted 500 pounds on this phone. It sucks. The screen responsiveness is terrible and the Touch Flo is such a poor copy of the iPhone. I bought this phone because I was getting impatient with the restrictiveness of the iphone, lack of SMS forwarding and the low end camera but unfortunately once you have gotten used to the iphone interface it is hard to switch. The hype on this phone seems to be artificiallly created because the UI is just no comparison to the smoothness of the iphone. And windows Mobile despite the high res still is ugly. I have no clu why Microsoft can't come up with a cool classy interface. I am never buying either a HTC device or WM phone ever again

Anonymous, 12 Nov 2008The G-sensor detects the position and motion of your device. This helps orient the display to ... moreno thats the accelerometer. i think the g sensor just detects whether you have dropped the device and so shuts it down before it smashes into the ground!

to those who has this phone... can you verify if this phone has a tv out? touch pro has.... but the specification for this they did not include, so probably this unit has no tv out?

                        Hi all

those who had gotten your Touch HDs, may i know how's the camera quality like? good colour & contrast? is it sharp?

And also, there's no haptic feedback, right?

This looks like the next handset I shall endeavour to acquire. Nice piece of kit!!!

Orange customer services were trying to tell me a £300 upgrade charge would be applied to my account, when I see certain web based 3rd party dealers giving it away on the £35 a month plans, (The same plan I'm on!).
Also it has apparently sold out on the first day at Orange uk...

...if this kind of experience continues whilst trying to upgrade to this phone and the nokia 5800 express music comes out I may reconsider my options....

Meteor, 11 Nov 2008Does anybody know what is G-sensor?The G-sensor detects the position and motion of your device. This helps orient the display to either vertical or horizontal view based on how you are holding your device. The G-sensor can also be used in games as a type of controlling action and other applications which require motion as an input.

If or when you drop the phone, the G sensor detects that it's heading to to ground very fast and shuts itself down quickly to avoid data loss, etc. Most new laptops come with this feature and that's what I understood when I read their explanation.
