JoDo is questioning like he has born yesterday, lolzzzz
Dont you know HTC? name is enough to answer all.
Just about the best mix for Business as well as Multimedia - 3.8" screen is the best feature - however when will HTC realize that a 5 MP Auto Focus camera needs a flash as well for some emergency night shots.
I can't wait for this phone, phones4u say that it will be out mid november. Fingers crossed
does anybody knows something about TV-out to HTC HD????
Questions
- Is this HTC HD now available for purchase in London, Belgium or France?
- Is it true that there is a built-in pdf viewer?
- can the screen content be moved from vertical to horizontal?
- Does it have a stylus?
thanks for any help, JoDo
Does anybody know if it will be possible to use Yahoo Messenger?, or for Touch Pro if yahoo messenger works?
Its should be able xenon flas for beter photo quality.
smokin' joe, 16 Oct 2008Love the concept of this device. I have been doing quite a bit of research for a replacement ... moreOnly consider the keyboard if you text a lot or reply to e-mails. Chatting also with the phone is very good, if you chatting with your phone you will need the keyboard.
I have the Touch Pro and I am very happy with it, the slide out keyboard is definately making a difference when come to chatting, e-mails, or writing comments on sites like this.
Virtual keyboard can get you to your way, but after sometime you will hate it.
Decision is finally yours.
5MP CAMERA and no flash. htc must be kidding. this is a bad joke, you're payin money for a 5mp cam that doesnt do better than a 2mp one with flash.
i want it. i'm in the biz and this phone excites me. in my professional diagnosis of the phone, i believe that this is where the market is going to be headed over the years to come. the only feature that could be improved is the external memory. other than that, good job htc!!!
Probably the best phone, best specifications and enormous display...love it
Love the concept of this device. I have been doing quite a bit of research for a replacement for my TytnII. It seems everything has it's good points, but I still havent found the perfect combination as of yet. The Touch HD has come the closest so far, I had all but decided on the Touch Pro before the HD was announced.
I was looking at and comparing several different models, but again for me each has it's downfalls.
Samsung Omnia - Crappy screen, stylus on a lanyard???, plenty of bad user reviews on UI and quality of the device
Xperia X1 - not keen on the UI or look of the phone, dont really need the keyboard or extra girth that goes with it
Diamond - No expandable memory
Touch Pro - keyboard not needed (see X1)
There are only two things that I would have like to have see on the Touch HD...
A large internal Memory (8 or 16 G would be great)
Flash for the Camera (not a neccesity though)
my biggest complaint is that I use third party GPS with either Garmin or TomTom, I have found them best for my particular needs. I can get the software and maps for them, but only on a card, they wont allow downloading of the apps so I can transfer to my own card or the device memory. Therefore when I want to use my GPS, I am SOL if I want to access anything on my storage card. I know I should be able to use google maps or the like, but data service where I travel can be unreliable so the Garmin is a must for me.
A second MicroSD slot on a phone would be an absolute Godsend.
Still, I will be picking up an HD soon after available.
If anyone has any other suggestions that meet my criteria I am still keeping an open mind. (up to a point, I refuse to have anything to with anything Nokia---very bad experience)
My criteria:
- Windows OS
- 533mhz or better processor
- minimum 256 RAM
- minimum 512 ROM
- larger internal memory would be great (8G or 16G)
- expandable memory (MicroSD)
- Touch screen
- HSDPA/3G
- WiFi
- minimum 3 mp camera (flash good but not deal breaker)
- with or without keyboard (not an issue either way)
- GPS (must have)
- 3.5 headphone jack (preferable of course)
- Integrated stylus (fingers are OK, but prefer pinpoint accuracy of stylus
ohhh.. this cellphone is soo marvellous.. that makes me sad =,)
i'll have my own...."hope so"
but..should have flash, but its fine this way...
is the thiniest until now, doesn't it?
