can someone, anyone, in very simple terms please tell me how to transfer my pics and videos ive taken with my mobile onto my home computer. ive plugged in the cable and done active sync then when i click on the caption on the computer ...'get pics from camera/scanner' i click on that and it wont let me continue.
Any ideas anyone?

Hi Guys,

Honestly I like hd2 but there is no available yet in Gulf (UAE). Anybody knows when hd2 will be available in UAE market. I need the phone on or before dec 1.

Reason being I mov... moreDon't just buy a windows mobile and depend on it out of the box, update the ROMs, install useful application.. Just like getting a windows for PC, you can't just use it at it is, you have to install fix updates, winzip, office, antivirus, drivers and lots and lots of things to make it useful..
This phone isn't just a phone, its an experience..

To date I can not find anything user friendly about the phone.I resent the amount of time needed to be an owner of this phone.From day one I stared to note difficulties until I got so many I got sick of writing. To name a few turn the phone during a call it
hangs up,a great number of calls need to be made twice both in coming an out, very frustrating. Its not for carring in your pocket makes it own calls. Half the time you can not get to answer the phone.
The list goes on, the updated widows is over designed and lost some of its simpler festures and the phone surly can not be that bad but for me its a shoker,

... moreHello Vishal, All ROMs could not expire, when they say test that means we (users) should test it and give feedback to the ROM cooker like Dutty or Miri or...
The best ROM yet that is flawless is HD Sense 2.1 R0 Holy Grail..

Duttys HD Sense 2.1 Holy Grail R0
Duttys HD Leo Holy Grail R0
Please suggest the best ROM out of these two??
Or if u know any better ROM apart from Dutty's in which Manila 2.5 sense will work smooth and fast.......

You can unlock it and maybe even upgrade to WinMo 7 in the future.. :)

Two things you have to know about hTC ROMs:
1 - WinMo builds:
- Build 23XXX: Its the latest WinMo build but still under development so you'll encounter lots of bugs which will drive you crazy.. They are improving now though
- Build 21XXX: Its an improved old build but its bug free and i personally recommended it for now.
2 - The 2 Manila versions:
Manila 2.1 is the old TouchFLo interface but yet faster than the new Manila (Sense) 2.5, The reason 2.5 is slower is because it was meant for a better processor like the HD2 so you'll find issues reading and writing SMS.. If you find Manila 2.5 (without hTC Messaging) that is not bad to install..

mr dexter morgan i have some error in my os (wm 6.1) and i tried to upgrade from htc site , but every time i put my phone serial number (ht847kd04487) they told me that this rom is not suitable for your device ! what i have to do ? can you help please ? thanks
