To Dexter and Anthony:
Hello dudes.since u two are professionals with wm phones i said i ask u this.Ive been using Samsung i900 omnia and have recently decided to change it for HD.i wanted to know what u two think.is it wise to do that?
by the way I know all the differences.one of the things that keeps me back the clock rate of HD's CPU which looses big time to omnia's.have u ever experienced lags or freezes or slow functions by ur HD?
every body else who has had a problem with his/her HD plzzzz fill me in.

I would try upgrading to it from an Original HTC rom rather than from a Dutty rom.... I did and the manila was still unstable.

Ok Dexter the is what I think of MaryOne.
The windows mobile 6.5 is it is allot better than the 6.5 that Dutty is using. But The Manila is not stable at all. Sometimes it would load half way down the screen. Meaning... the top half of the screen would be blank and the bottom half of the screen would only show the top half of the manila.
Sometimes the tabs in the manila would load with part behind the lower menu bar And other times it would say there is no manila.
Opera has no slide/zoom bar and the task manager is not predictable. It is hidden behind a clock and sometimes you get it and other times you get a windows smart menu. so I’m going back to dutty's leo r5 rom and I’ll wait till dutty makes a rom with the new windows 6.5 maybe he will do a better job of blinding the manila with the new wm6.5.

I am still testing MaryOne it looks good but I don’t know as yet if it is ready for everyday use.
I was using Duttys HD WM6.5 Leo R5 before and it was good, I love the new stuff in it like footprint and facebook in the picture album but a bit slow to refresh the new touchflo at times. Dexter was is using Duttys HD WM6.5 R14 Turbo
And say everything in it is great. So go with one of them and when I can give feedback about what I think about MaryOne I will.

Vishali have bean test it and it is very nice but still not ready for every day use do not use it. install leo r5 that is the one i am going back to.
did you unlock your Phone SPL with HSPL as yet? you have to do that first befor you can use a cooked rom.

Dear anthony/ Dexter....Is MaryOne a reliable ROM or would you suggest some other ROM as Dexter has only commented that he did not use MaryOne till now. As this a very new ROM on the board....Pls suggest me that which ROM is reliable for my phone....or the ROM you are using on your HD?

The full spec for the HTC Touch HD2 are here. And it looks good. But the battery could be better. No more front cam and no more hand writing recognition :(
If I didn’t already have this phone I would of bought the HD2, but seeing that is not the case I’ll wait to see if a better one comes out with the front cam and batter battery and maybe even get rid of the keys in the front. The full touch screen in the HD was great I wader why they changed it in the HD2?

The Touch HD2 will be released soon, So you ought to wait for that, but if you're interested in a phone with a real good price and a free upgrade to WinMo 6.5, then go for the Diamond 2.. :)
If you we were a technical person and want to unlock the phone and install roms (Operating System) every now and then, then both Touch HD and Diamond 2 is worth their prices.. To me i prefer the Touch HD over the diamond 2 for the following:
- Huge screen, (Accurate touch, amazing photo/video viewer and awesome ease of navigation)
- Better battery life 2-3 days (Diamond 2, 1-2days)
- Zooming bar is not necessary since most new apps have them on screen.
- 3.5 headphone jack.
Diamond 2 has a great video capture.. And the phone size looks like a normal phone which is great too..
Please check out the HD2 every time for the updates of release..
