- The Omnia II in Hardware is better than the Touch HD.
- TouchFlo3D is better than the TouchWiz, according to Samsung users they use touchflo on their devices.
- Software in the Touch HD is better than the Omnia.
- You won't find stable Roms for the samsung, because the rom developers (Cooked or Official) are better and more experienced than the samsung's.
- Even though the specs in the Samsung are better in performance. If you compare both devices with updated roms (Cooked, or maybe official), the Touch HD is faster and more stable and will never crash or freeze.

Regarding the win 6.5. It's available for the HD and was since february. But you have to use a cooked rom, cause the official website aren't gonna offer you and upgrade like they offered the Diamond 2 or the Pro 2.
- My friend own's the Diamond 2, he knows that there is an official upgrade for it to 6.5, but yet he knows that the cooked roms are a lot better.
1- Gives you more battery life.
2- Better call reception.
3- More useful applications.
4- More free RAM and ROM.
5- Fast
6- Stable

I s... moreMy advise, u just drop by phone shop and try this 2 phone out ( HTC HD, Samsung Omnia ll) see which one u like. for me HTC HD more friendly to use. Samsung Omnia to person that like show off with ui this phone is for u... good day.

Touch flo vs Touchwiz ...which is better??
I am talking about Samsung OmniaII. I saw great review of this phone here. It has great hardware specs....led flash, 800mhz processor & amoled screen. It's really tempting but HTC is an old player and I like touchflo over touchwiz(i never used it).
Is it possible to flash htc rom on Omnia??

Max dutty rom 2.5 mani... moreI wasn't talking about the problem, i was saying if miri was using hTC sms and then you compare Dutty and Miri, Dutty's better.. But miri's rom has an advantage because there is no hTC sms.. :)

Dexter Morgan, 10 Sep 2009Dutty could have easily thrown out the htc sms from the rom but he didn't.. So if you compare ... moreBcuz of my work i had to send sms 1 sms to 20 or 30 person in one time. Max dutty rom 2.5 manila just can send or group 10 person,so i prefer miri rom. With 3 party cab i can easily send 20 or 30 person with no problem.

hi i had just purchased the nokia n97 last week tuesday it is a way cool phone and now i have come across the htc hd i am really impressed what i like about it the most is the touch flo 3d and the large 3.8 screen i enjoy the reviews and specs on this phone

Anthony. i using Miri WM 6.5 23017 :: MANILA 2.5 :: REV 7.1 No HTC Messaging Version ROM( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=542104 ) Using group sms cab (http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/archive/index.php/t-2243297.html) this link also include core player. no bug with importing 300+ sms.The t 3d ui same with leo r2. Very happy with it for daily use.

And a lot of the menus that are skinned in Leo r2 are not skinned in Miri Rev. 7.1 they just go to the normal wm6.5 interface. and the web browser tab did not work. I’m loading back Leo r2.

Not that the Diamond 2 is not great, but from the HD to Diamond 2? Come on!.. :P Loooll!!

Hai guys. i already usingMiri WM 6.5 23017 :: MANILA 2.5 :: REV 7.1 No HTC Messaging Version ROM for 4 days. No issue or any bug so far !. My last rom was dutty leo r2, nice but not so great compare to miri rev7.1. No sms bug i install 3 party cab for group sms. Great rom! try it . u will love it!
