Hey Dextar .. by the way for ur info i was asking about thoe applications which u can not use on any phone apart frm iPhone ... where a Windows mobile stops working from there the world of iPhone starts .... and i more thing .. i think (after reading ur and anthony's comments) that u and anthony bought a high end phone for a very first time that's why u r getting too much excited and i generally change my phone on every 2nd month ... so i m not so egar for those applications which are easily avaliable .... so keep ur HTC and enjoy but you need to learn lot more things abt phones and their OS ... well Nick thanx buddy.. i have most of the applications installed in my phone but i will search others in cydia ... take care and NICK jus gimme ur e-mail address, i will defenately mail u.
To Anthony : Hey buddy i m from INDIA ... i bought unlocked version of 3GS .. and i have vodafone connection. I also dont like sending mms but i m sure u can send mms through iPhone but u might need to install an application from iTunes for this.

Transformer, 02 Sep 2009Dexter Morgan, ok i try it out, go to inbox n reply send text to my 2nd phone about 2~3 second.I think i found out why i'm getting SMS issues, it's because of PIMBackUp.. I will backup my data using MS MyPhone then flash R2 again..

you jailBreaked your iPhone and I updated my HD rom to r12
1)I don't need a app to change theme just the .cab file.
2)I don't need 3rd party app to toggle
WiFi / EDGE / Bluetooth at home screen or while you’re using other applications.
3)Podcaster I'll give you that only because I don't use podcast. I have a real radio on my HD. there for I don't know the app to use.
4)I don't need a 3rd party app to access the HD file system remotely. I don't need 3rd party app to transfer ringtones or photos between the device and computer remotely or for that part any other device. 5)iPhone camera will never be a digital slr so it could never be an advanced digital camera. it also has no flash so it's not even better than the cam on the HD.
6) because of r12 I don't need to install a app to make the HD a wireless router
7) GETYTV gives the HD the ability to download videos for offline viewing.
8)with r12 I have 2 start menu view types to choose from and in one of them it has 30 icons spots not just 25
9)don't need 3rd party app to send bluetooth file transfer
10)don't need 3rd party app for mms and I know it works.
I had to install 1 maybe 2 apps to do what you had to install 10 apps to do. and you say the iPhone is better.... so the guy that installed 20 - 30 apps. it must just be 2-3 or 4-6 on the HD. It makes me wounder what his 30 was.
To Anthony: I'm not fan of mms. I dont need this feature. If i need to send pic, i rather use email with attach file. Simple. By the way, iphone is capable of mms but its at&t that stopping. I heard in 1-2 months, everybody will be able to use this feature. Regarding carrier, i use both at&t and tmobile. Bye bye

You know you're just agreeing with us without knowing..
I have nothing installed in my HD at the moment except for Coreplayer that plays any kind of video formats.. And of course my language pack.. I'm happy and couldn't ask more for apps..

Transformer, 02 Sep 2009Did u after flasing new rom , remember to do the hard reset,before using It . Hope this help.Transformer, i know what i'm doing here, flashing once, twice or three times.. I need to know if your SMS works smoothly that's all, if you go to inbox then reply and then send.. how fast is it?..
I had the problem with 2.5 and 2.6.. :)
I'll try to flash again, but please until then reply about the sms performance.. :)

Hey Nick .. how r u doing buddy ? ... well i m using my iPhone 3GS and its awesome buddy .. i did install 20-30 softwares from cydia and they work like anything .. well HTC users i must say that iPhone is n times better than Windows mobile ... I also used Windows Mob 6.5 juz for a lil experience and wht i think is windows 6.5 is juz a kind of copy of Android ... Microsoft did that juz to compete with iPhone OS but unfortunately still long way to go ... 3gs is an awesome phone and one more thing , someone in this forum said that iPhone's battery can not be replaced .. it is not true my frnd ... it is easily available and replaceable ... so Nick .. no matter they say abt iPhone but this is best phone today .. let c if Windows come with anything new tommorow but i m sure taht Apple would not be sleeping till that time ... LOL ... take care and enjoy using iPhone
