Nick, 02 Sep 2009Anthony my fren..you just simply hate iphone coz it's an iphone. Who said iphone can't do mu... morewhen I say share data with other devices you take that to mean just a pc. I'm talking about other phones. fridge with bluetooth grocery list. the printer at the copy shop. the over the air discount system at the mall. do you get it now? and push is not multi task.do you know what the word multi and the word task mean? multi task lets the phone do two things at once. you know like multi touch the phone can handle more than one touch at the same time. you are right, you should leave. stick to what you know because right now you don't look like you even know an iPhone. you are just sad. be happy you can call you gf on your Iphone. but then again you could have done that on a $20 pre paid phone. so tell me again what you do on the phone that I couldn't do on a psp and a $20 phone. that world have done the trick. or if you need the interface so bad. an ipod and skype. because that's what a iPhone is. a ipod touch that makes calls

iphone is only a multimidea phone...no doubt.
but HTC TOUCH HD is a all rounder...you can play movie,play games,enjoy your favorite music..and above all....you can injoy ''business'' work tooooo.

Yes Damn... moreNick. a touch screen on a phone is to get to your info and features faster than you would with a dial pad. IPhone, has the touch screen (no one doubts that) but lacking the features and the ability to shear data with other devices real bad. that is why people say all it is, is a good interface. because it's not the best at the other things that cell phones do. and it can't even do some of the things smart phones do. and I said SMART PHONE not SMART PEOPLE, so get it right this time.

Anthony my fren..you just simply hate iphone coz it's an iphone. Who said iphone can't do multitasking?? It only does not allow to do multi-tasking with 3rd party apps. There is a reason for that. It drains battery. But iphone has another solution for multi-tasking…its called Push Notification. By the way, I have seen multi-tasking in winmob... Lol. Wats the use of winmob bottle-neck multi-task?? I prefer everything to be perfect. Who said you can not share data with other device?? You can do that with bluetooth or usb cable. Transfer to & from pc/mac is just a breeze. And itune is the place…its like walmart…everything under one roof. There are certain things you can not blame iphone coz of damn carrier. Its at&t which has not yet allowed mms/tethering etc. It's about contract & business stuffs between apple & at&t. Tweaking & jailbreak is different. I jailbroke coz I needed to run iphone under different carrier and wanted freedom from at&t & apple's restriction. Regarding call, at least with iphone I'm able to call anytime I need to nor miss any imp call. But with winmob, It's like hit or miss situation coz you never know when it gets hanged.
Anyway, you guys must be tired of me by now. Truth hurts! I know this place does not belong to me. I will be back once I have tegra based winmob……god knows when. Till then Goodbye. Enjoy tweaking & resetting!

I really enjoyed 2.6 and i regret going back to 2.1, but in 2.6 when i go and choose "All messages" in the touchFLO tab, it freezes, or when i type a message and hit the send button, it either freezes and doesn't send the message or sends the message fine..
Can you please make sure that everything in SMS tab works?
Another thing, if you disable TouchFlo 2.6, to use normal windows SMS it's not there, It still runs the 2.6 sms..

Guys, words that doesn't make sense are easy to say, and if i was someone like Nick i'd write 4 pages of nonsense, but facts are facts, you can just say it in one sentence and a smart guy can learn from it..
I face people like Nick everyday, but some of them are hard headed and afraid to be losers at the end of the day so they stick with their so called Friendly ui iPhones, and some of them have there eyes popped when they see what the HD offers with the winmo 6.5, and Manila 2.1/2.5/2.6.. They deal with it and sell their iPhones for the Diamond 2.. Cause they know how more friendly it is, easy and faster way to run things!
People look at reality, reality is based on facts not on cheap talking and media bull^*&$!!!..
Nick, Windows mobile gave you the chance to customize your phone to your own preferences.. You threw all that away for the "I have everything in my Friendly UI".. Everything you want is in your iPhone you say! Yeah i agree, it's obvious all you want is to scroll through photos and contacts in a graphical way and dial your GF's number!!!..

You say the phone is the best even when it can’t do I need it to do. You say why tweak winmo when you had to tweak your Iphone. (Why did you jailbreak if its perfect as is?)
you don’t have time to help 3 iphone users but you had time to write so much. You want to know what i like about the iphone and would like on the HD? multi touch. Thats it. Just one. What is the point of a good interface if there are no programs you want to use with the good interface? What is the point of a smart phone if it can’t shear data with my other devices? I did not buy the HD just for a touch screen I got it to help with my work day. So why will I get a iphone just for an interface?

Am I missing sth?? Well! there's nothing to miss about winmob anyway! Iphone is jesus phone. From 4 yrs old boy to 80yrs old man...they all know about Iphone. Dont be jealous...just do your some research why it is so popular?? You can go & ask any iphone users (but not Anthony frens), if there's anything they are missing or would to see on their phones....Answers will be 90% are totally satisfied. May be 10% will say...they'd like to have 5mp camera & video calling features. Apart from that there is nth more you can ask for.

If you do not have smooth UI like iphone, wats the point of having touch-screen. No matter wat features you have, it counts for nth if UI is not as smooth as Iphone. Wats the point if screen is not user friendly??…wats the point it takes ages to launch one damn small application??…..wats the point it gets hanged in the middle of sth??
Lets talk about tweaking & flashing! Why the hell on earth ppl need to tweak winmob ….answer is simple…coz winmob is ugly & can not do nth without tweaking. Why HTC need to create Touchflo???...coz this will give some sort of iphone -style experience. Look at iphone….it does everything outta box. I told you already Time is money. I do not wanna waste my time on tweaking. It doesnot worth it. Instead I love to spend those time with my GF lol.
Winmobile is outdated platform and I called it Dead. Microsoft gotta do overhaul and come out with new winmob 7 to keep the pace with iphone & palm. That’s the reason why HTC announced that their future 50% phones will be android based coz they are tired of winmobile. That’s the reason HTC is delaying launch of so called tegra & snapdragon processor for winmob. They know pretty well that winmobile can not take benefit of this new monster processor. Its like putting Turbo engine in Donkey Cart.
In the end of day, when you go to bed I bet you guys always wish & pray for 3 things in your htc hd.: 1)iphone speed 2)Iphone UI and 3)Iphone browsing experience. Don’t lie to me that you do not wish those things in your hd. I know you guys are hard-core winmob fans but still you guys desperately want those goodies of iphone. I do not understand why you do not want to admit that Iphone & its OS is far better than winmob. You should learn to admire good things. I am a pc user and I say loudly that PC is better than apple's OSX. But when it comes to mobile platform …they are nowhere until & unless they do sth about it.
To dexter: Ya I'll be damn happy to get new iphone on my next 9th birthday. But you---Even when you turn 80, you will still be tweaking your damn HD. I just hope & pray that your winmob does not crash on you when you need a medical help.lol
To Anthony & his frens: I can not go on each & every apps as I don’t have that much free time like u do. Don’t be cry baby & keep going over & over to same stupid points which makes no sense to me at all. If you can…read all my recent post & come at me with your counter -views. I'm ready to take on that! I already answered your question. Besides video call & 2 sim-card slots…those are hardware limitation which iphone can't do. But watever your hd can do..iphone does better! Tell your frens to go to itunes and check out all apps. May be they are not as smart as you are. …that’s why they have iphones. lol
