is better if body part for htc hd make by stanless steel like nokia e71-look like professional smartphone. NOT PLASTIC!

I think the Pro2 looks much more attractive than the HD
Also, it has a keyboard which is very helpful.
But for me, i still prefer the HD and can't live with the pro2 because of the following reasons:
1) The HD camera is 5MP. pro2 is 3.2MP
2) Screen is bigger 3.8"
3) HD has a 3.5 mm headphone so you can use your PC headphones
4) HD has a FM radio. The Pro2 doesn't
5) With a keyboard, it is not easy to use a protective cover (leather or plastic)
If you can live without these 5 reasons, then get the PRO2
Don't worry about micro SD cards. And my Garmin GPS is working perfectly

John, 15 Aug 2009Hey hi i read ur opinion about TOUCH HD i m shocked to understand it from ur scrap about t... moreDon't worry about ruining SDCards, Never have i heard that an SDCard could be ruined without a reason, There must have been a problem with removing the card while something was transferring, i don't blame the user, maybe the software wasn't helping with the process, it happens with any device, so its normal.. microSD cards are the best cards with high transfer rates and are 100% compatible with hTC devices.. I had 2 8GBs which i used later for my Nintendo DS and now i'm using the 16GB one and its completely flawless.. In fact i noticed that using the hTC as a USB hard-disk is the best and fastest in my opinion if you're in the move and don't wanna carry hard-disks or flash memories around..

Amazing loud pre-amped speakers too.. ;)

:), 15 Aug 2009*GASP* HD screen at 65K colour depth??????? hmmm how does this fair up? Having more colors is just nonsense, the human eye don't need more than that.. Other phones have 16M Color but i've compared the quality, a real phone needs high resolution this has 480x800, other 16m or 256k colors usually have less, so what's the use.. ;) Just stick with the resolution..

About the SD Card : read the post :http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=546750 and the issue regarding the GPS lag :http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=430895. No such problems experienced with HTC Trinity (3600). If you considered buying the HD, please read these posts. The HD has a ipressve screen and good build quality, but the overall perfomance is not up to scratch.

Firstly it ruined two micro s... moreMy Touch HD is running smoothly and very fast, GPS is working fine, everything is working perfectly.. hTC has nothing to do with the software, the device is great. You have to update your software to get the most out of your hardware..

just in this opinion list dated 15th August one of our friend has mentioned his problems regarding TOUCH HD ,
he says it ruined his 2 micro SD card
and also the ph is too slow and recommending not to buy it ,
will u plz suggest me on this issue as i m about to buy this handset soon.

I was alwys a fan of HTC, but this phone made me change my mind. Firstly it ruined two micro sd cards, why i dont know and secondly the GPS is unusable becuase of the lag - there is no way that you can set the buad rate of the GPS port. You can't use TomTom, Igo or Garmin because of the lag. Overall the phone is very slow. I don't understand how HTC can claim this phone to be their flagship. Don't waste your money on this phone, you will regret it, take my word!
