This htc touchpro is SUX!!!!!!!!!!! my old compaq presario 1988 computer goes faster than this junk..this phone lags,freezes,locks down, no software avaliable on htc's website, only limited 3rd party avaliable, which is risky to the phone, and customer support sucks and they refuse to resolve my issues with my phone,do not waiste your money on this or even the touch pro 2,aint worth it, u want great reliability and performance phones, stick with sony ericsson, the best!

Is this phone easy and practical to use as an everyday phone(without worrying about email etc)?? Also, being powered by windows, can skype be used on it?

I have ATT service and the touch pro I have does not have some of the features such as the you tube, google maps, FM radio, MP3 Trimmer, and Sprite Back up. Is there a way that I can get these programs on the phone? PLease help

by the way my wife has a omnia... hers does the same. but is the settings you can change it.
Have you tried looking at the setting/manual? HAS to be there!

the stylus on my touch pro doesn't slide back in to its slot like it used to be, the magnet effect is gone and it doesn't switch on the phone when i take it out.
anyone had the same experience? how to fix this?

I own a htc touch pro since 2 months. I´m quite disappointed from the fact that I haven´t been able to find a freeware divx player that works with
decent quality films and does not skip the frames. Furthermore I noticed that the alarm does not work when the phone is off. Another annoying thing is that the screen switches off as soon as I pick up or make a phone call, although this is done to avoid to press the touch screen with the ear and activate a non wanted program, I think that a solution similar to the I-phone would be great.

Do you know if Skype client and a 3G SIM would work fine on this phone to keep a clear phone conversation?
Also, have you tried a Cisco VPN client ?
