      -no secondary camera
-numbers not are aligned in top row...they are almost in the center of the key pad in a grid form
      -no fm radio
      -battery life is weak

att's version is always different from the original one. i bet att will change a few specs on the omnia and xperia1 when they get release in att.

to find more info on the differences of fuze vs. touch pro visit an att store near you, which i did. they have never seen or heard of the original htc touch pro.

I would like to know the major differences between the HTC Fuze (from AT&T version of the HTC Touch Pro) and the Original HTC Touch Pro?

Additionally, I would like to know if the HTC Fuze which is bought without the Contract Plan, comes SIM Locked or Unlocked.

Further, I would like to know if the HTC Fuze has the FM Radio with RDS or if its disabled and whether it can be enabled in any way.

Finally, in the HTC Fuze, is there the Headset as found in the Original HTC Touch Pro. This is because I have read that they have the Adaptor with all additional connections included in the sales package.

All responses and answers will be appreciated in order to understand the differences between the HTC Fuze and the Original HTC Touch Pro and determine the better phone of the two to go for.

        Paul.

for a powerful pda phone, the led camera flash of the touch pro or fuze is weak, compared to the n95's powerful led camera flash. HTC should accomodate a powerful led camera flash for their pda phones.

I recently purchased the fuze. I find that my n95 is easier to navigate and more user friendly. Probably, is just matter of getting use to the touchscreen again. I also have an iphone, but I rarely use it.

What are you talking about? If I understand you correctly you can change the predictive text by pressing FN then Spacebar. This will switch off the T9 function, and you can write whatever your want. I have no idea about the e-mail setting changes, I have been using this set for 4 months now and the e-mail is working without any problems.

Do not throw it to the wall, but check what is wrong or ask the service center. May be you set is defective and you can change it or repair under warranty.

                                  Best of luck.

It's utterly uesless, never have I had the misfortune to come across such a rubbish piece of hardware.

For sure it looks good and feels well built, but I am sure the designers have tried to be far too smart with this.

It is alarmingly easy to change settings and do things to it that you had no intention of doing and the prescriptive text is a nightmare, there appears to be no way of switching it off and it virtually always types what you don't want.

I can't work out the logic of the default internet settings and the way it decides to store some pages and not others, the email connectivity settings have a habbit of changing themselves on their own, seriously not helpful. WTF is going on. Compare with the simple logic in an Audi MMI system, no comparison.

If it wasn't for the fact this had been imposed on me (by our useless pointy head f**kwits in IT), I'd quite happily throw the thing against a wall and go back to a regular phone.

At the end of the day if anything is really that important, then speak to someone, don't waste your life dicking around with one of the most frustrating things ever invented.

                                    PS - I am not a Ludite.

                                      Question....

I live in Canada on the Rogers network and am looking at purchasing the touch pro or touch diamond.

If i buy this phone unlocked...will ALL the features be usable?

I've bought unlocked phones before and i can never use the WAP browser, internet, MMS (picture and video messaging)....etc....those are mainly the features that won't work.

all the basic features work like SMS, calling, etc.

Am i limited to only buying the phones from Rogers?

                                      thanks for you help
