Hi. I have this phone since one month and I don't imagine something better. Maybe is my just lack of imagination :). At first sight HTC TD looks easy to fill with your finger prints (yes this is a hickup) but when you open it - wow what an image. Crisp and sharp. No matter that is only 64k. Then I learned using the TouchFlo interface. Brilliant. All thumbs up.

EXCEPT! The 65K color screen!
But considering this is a smart... more
Please .. lets stop that nonsense 65k, no xenon flash, 8MP crap
It doesnt matter that has only 65k the resolution is the best out there
for the ones who had or has a nokia n958Gb let me tell u that this phone has 3 times more pixels
and believe me that N95 8Gb has a beatiful screen, imagine how good the HTC PRO screen is!!
Nokia has "16M" colors
HTC PRO 65k
and HTC screen is far far better than NOKIA's
All the latest technology!
EXCEPT! The 65K color screen!
But considering this is a smartphone and with such a gynamous screen, 65K is probably an ADVANTAGE because it will help save Power

OK, I couldnt wait for a response from you guys so I went out and got me The Touch Diamond (Pro) not available in SA yet, excellent phone, fast and the features are amazing. The looks are easy on the eye too. I would definately recommend this to all Windows mobile fans.
Why could'nt they make this phone Quad band, most of their other phones are.
I have been using my unit for a week now, great feel to it but I seem to be getting extremely poor battery life and poor reception.
Any one having the same issues?

seriously, 3mp camera is enough for normal size phots.but if you want a big one, you would be better off using a real camera to get real good quality picture.coz the lens you are getting from a camera phone is nothing compare to a point and shoot camera.so enough of this crap that camera phones should have 8 mp cams.okidoki?
Release in the middle east expected to be around first two weeks in Sep-08. Information is not confirmed by HTC middle east.
its real beast, i love it, waayy better than iphone..
how much is this phone? I need a cell phone to call my friends and lover!! ...I was hoping HTC would come up with a 8MP cam just like Sony and Samsung. Yeah I see there's a keyboard, nice, but I was hoping for more. If I can't get this phone by end of August i'm grabbing a phone from another company. By the way, I was also hoping this phone would come also in silver. I hate black, it looks cheap!
I purchased my HTC Touch Pro via eBay on Thursday and received the phone on Friday, thanks to UPS Next Day, and it was well worth the expense. As a tech junkie I'v owned everything from the recent iPhone-to-Treos-Windows Smartphones, and I have to say this unit a well constructed, compact power house of functionality.
HTC's Touch Flo3D is the most distinguishing factor of this phone, as it provides the front-end that Microsoft needs to appeal to potential iPhone buyers. As a technology consultant I really needed a physical QWERTY Keyboard to quickly respond to the 100+ email received daily. While I seriously considered the Samsung Omnia, its resolution and soft-keyboard just weren't the answer.
Well.... On Saturday morning I made my way to the local Alexandria, Virginia AT&T Store, swapped my iPhone SIM and after some configuration changes, was ready to go... (Configuration Changes: Associating my Connections with the MediaNet profile and Disabling Internet Proxy)...
OK.... Would I recommend this device... Yes... Real Benefits over iPhone (Cut & Paste, 3MP Camera, QWERTY and Compact Size).... Disadvatages compared to iPhone (No multiple Calendars/Contacts Support, ActiveSync Bugs).
Hi Guys, I am curently using a an Imate Jasjam, thinking of upgrading, looking for something with maybe better features, would the Touch Pro be a good option or is there anything better, I heard guys are experiencing software/virus problems with the TOUCH, please help!
