baba, 25 Jun 2008Can anyone help me please, will it be possible to play Java games on this phoneYes it is possible, all windows mobile have java midlet support, your problem will be the screen resolution, this screen is 640x280 (VGA) while most java games are made for 320x240 or even less (QVGA) so the game will only be played on a portion of the screen.

With unsatisfactory result with TyTNII, can anyone tell me -
1. Any support wherever HTC sells their machine?
2. Does the packing coming up with ENGLISH MANUAL?
3. Doses proper GPS software pre-loaded?
4. Does normal camera mode (normal photo mode) have zooming?
5. Where are the loudspeakers located? Backside or sideways? And what is the sound quality while comparing NOKIA's N95/N95-8GB?
6. Does its keyboard support 'STAR SERVICE'?
(*) and (#)work for special service with service provider?
7. Arabic messages are right adjusted?
There are so many draw-backs like this, with very much illustrated TyTNII.

everything u said (WeeHaur) holds, but u "forgot" to mention that X1 has better resolution and whole metal casing... i like the HTC 2, but X1 doesn't look bad either... i guess that release date and price are gonna decide which 1 i'm gonna buy

WeeHaur, 26 Jun 2008Look like this phone is design to beat SE X1. It has remove all the bad things in Diamond an... more Lol, battery life is muuuch bigger in X1, memory is upgradable, so it is not important. ToutchFlo and Panelc are comparable, and it is easy to write a program like ToutchFlo, to work on any mobile phone...

As for Keyboard, THC has one row more, but what counts more is on whick you can type better. This is what we don't know jet, as nobody realy tried...

Is it true this phone is meant for the business consumer and will cost around €1200 ?!? Or will the price be comparable to that of other htc's and very well possible with a 2yr contract and little extra payment?

Sasan, 21 Jun 2008Do you have any idea about the Differencesss of the LoudSpeaker place in both Diamond and touc... moreDiamond's speaker gril is on the top. Next to the on/off button.
But it's placed in the back side in the Pro.
Who knows, maybe it has a better sound than diamond.
I think quality doesn't depend on the size!

Looks like a great phone, bigger screen would have been nice but i guess the device is big enough as is. I'm currently using the Tytn II and the device itself is great, unfortunatley i'm fed up with Windows Mobile. My last 3 phones have been WM Phones and they're just too unstable and unreliable. I'm thinking of giving the iPhone 3G a go now that it supports Exchange Activesync. Just afraid i will miss alot of the features i have gotten used to now using WM.

a.p, 22 Jun 2008hello, I want to ask if on the windows mobile 6.1 can use C++ programm? and programs that ... moreSry, buit it seems that you don't have primary basic knowledge of programing languages. C++ is one of most widly used languages. They use it to make programs for: Linux, Windows, Windows Mobile, Symbian, Linux hwatever mobile. You can use whatever language you want for making programs for Windows Mobile, you just need the correct library and stuff.

So you second part of question. Programs are made for only one of those, Windows Mobile or Windows XP, can+t be for both at once. But you can write one program in C++, compile it for XP, and than make only little adjustment and compile it for Linux, Windows Mobile. Thats how they port games from Xbox, make applications work on both linux and windows. Most of the code is the same.

But seriously, why would you compile Word 2007 for mobile phone, or sth. like that, it wouldn't even go into ram...
