This is going to be an awesome phone. Can't wait until it comes out.
After a long time the smart phone I'v waited is arriving. If it comes with a HDD there wil be no other. I'm gona buy one...
now if only it were quadband...
i'd personally go for the SE Xperia...
This device does look awesome.
However there is something that is bugging me; granted all the recent devices from HTC have been of the "Touch" series, but it would appear that HTC seems to be swinging away from quad (omni) band devices in favour of region specific frequency devices. Although I dont travel much, when I do its nice to know that when I buy a prepaid SIM for my HTC Prophet I can throw it in there no having to worry about the frequency that this network/country uses.
I may consider the TyTN II over this device, however this device is uber uber sexah!
However I see a couple of drawbacks.
1. No Internal Memory
2. No RSS Feed Reader
3. Screen should have been at least 3 Inches
Otherwise, the features looks great. Eager to buy one
The TV is such rubbish in the UK no need for a phone to have a receiver. Please can anyone say if this phone is doomed to have just white icons????
Great phone....the only thing this thing is missing is a TV receiver. Wouldn't surprise me if this is on the drawing boards for future models from HTC.
CRYSIS, 04 Jun 2008If it only comes with a 5 or 7 Mega pixel camera with auto focus, then it will be armageddon ! Xenon Flash, MAN ! Don't forget to include Xenon Flash ! Rest In Peace !
KAZLIMOK, 04 Jun 2008hand phone hell on earth ! here comes the hp devil ! If it only comes with a 5 or 7 Mega pixel camera with auto focus, then it will be armageddon !
Guys, the Xperia is an MPEG4 player while Touch Pro specs says its only an MP3 player. But Touch Pro has got Pocket Office (With MS Outlook) which X1 does not. The processor and RAM of Touch Pro are better than X1. Now, the 3G technology of HTC can only be used either in US or the Asias whereas the X1 can be used in both worlds (This note is for people who travel across both worlds like me)
Now, looking at the Nokia N96, its got DVB-H technology(U can watch live TV, not sure what channels we can watch) and a video player with 30fps. But the N96 does not have pocket office and its processor is not a good one (ARM 9 series 332 MHz). But then, its got a 5MP with the Carl-Zeiss Lens and a 16M colour display type.
I am pretty confused on what to buy since each one has something special that i would like to have. Any suggestions?? Don't tell me to buy all three as a silly act of cracking a joke.
