Hi All,
I have owned this Viva for about 2 months. These are my comments.

1. The Processor Speed is kind of slow. it sometimes take quite sometime to respond
2. One of the problems i have been having right from the beginning is the Touchflo. When i get SMS messages from someone, the screen becomes active and it automatically goes on to place calls or open other applications(when i keep the mobile in my pocket). Does no one ever come across this problem?.

One of the solution to this problem is i can disable the touchflo from Today's screen and keep it locked. But it does not look cool that way. I am still living with it.

Irfan Mehr, 20 Nov 2009Anybody tell me Nokia 5800 & HTC VIVA which i sthe best? Because i am double minded. which one... moreIf you want to buy HTC Viva make sure that all the features are enough for you. And, don't try to install other applications like gmail, GPS, etc. as the capacity is limited. Try to review the features of HTC touch 3G and find out if this really you want.

But I am not talking about WiFi network. I am talking about GSM network signals i.e. my operator (Vodafone) network signals.
                    Thanks.

Diamond is best or else touch 3G, also HTC Tattoo is a great option

Because i am double minded. which one... moreIn terms of OS, Touch Viva is much better than 5800! It's more flexible and expendable! But if you're a Symbian-lover and don't prefer Winmo OS then sure 5800 would be your no.1!

To come out of a "smartphone"-dilemma, you must look at the OS the devices are running. Because that will be the deciding factor!

The only "problem" I faced when using this phone is the virtual keyboard! Like all other touchscreen phones, typing will be a "pain in the @ss" when the screen itself is smaller than 3.4". So if you have tiny fingers, then this will not be an issue!
