First TyTN was a flop. Speaker/ringer died in few month. Awkward customer service confessed it is a common complaint. Company replaced the phone, then the replacement in few months lost the speaker/ringer feature. Now out of of 1-year assumed-warranty with no speaker/ringer.
specifications are nice... but they are always stuck with the same processor speed, the Imate jasjam (HTC TyTN)had good specifications but the processor was slow to handle the programs requirements... and this mobile has even more more capabilities but with the same processor speed...
thank god I'm not a computer freak that I dont buy the latest mobile as soon as it comes out and I can wait for a good Pocket-PC to come out in order for me to buy it. but I feel sorry for those who cant stop them selves from buying the latest mobile and endup regretting buying it because of the many problems it causes.
I need a slider phone like this but with
20GB HDD, Widows XP, faster processor, 262K coloue, VGA display/video & 2250mah Battery . May be slightly biger in size but pocketable.
I'm confused, isn't HTC a Taiwanese company? Cuz it's available all over the place but not in Taiwan. Anyone have an idea?
The ratings have went down due to some people acting like kids.I noticed a comment made in the n95 opinions section urging people to vote down this product.
I've just got this phone for three days now. I'm a SE fan but I tell you this is the phone I was waiting for. I love the size, the weight.... everything. It have it all.

How can the design of this unit be rated at 8.1?It's revolutionary, nothing on the market comes even close!Hmmm must be some sad people out there who haven't got a clue.
Also if any one is interested the same deal applies for the new Blackberry Curve (8310).
For Branden the Great:
I have heard that if you sign up to a 12 month contract with Vodafone with the HTC Tytn 2 then you will get free GPS for the full 12 months, which means no update or connection fees. Best deal out there!
Hope this helps.
Does anybody can say exactly what depth of colors the screen has: 262K or 65K?
Just a quick question of the TyTN II, how much can the expansion slot can go up to? (please tell me its higher than 4gb)
The HTC TyTN has finally come to maturity. The question I am asking is does it top i-mate Ultimate's 7150?? The latter is about to be released and it has a faster processor, a sumptuous vivid VGA screen, 262144 colour palette which is extremely rare for WM phones, XGA direct video out, 3.8 inch screen (4:3 image aspect ratio) and FM radio so that I can catch up on the business news. To me it seems to be a more sophisticated and versatile device. I think this could be the one! What say you TyTNs??
