I must admit the Tytn II is by far the best phone I have ever used. I used to use the O2 Life, O2 Atom, Atom Exec and Atom Life, and I was changing the phone every couple of months due to manafacturer's faults, I counted 6 handsets in under 12 months. Tired of being messed around by o2, I decided to try HTC for the first time in the middle of last year, and signed up for a contract on the same day, and haven'e had once single glitch. Except that I get static when I make a call, and I can't take photos outdaoors whilst the sun's out. besides these two minor things the the phone's a winner

Hi, my the gps build gps is in use, but it does not get signal.
HTC TyTN II is a good phone as far as the features are concern but it is a very bulky phone and also lil tuff to use. I used this phone for 1 month and my experience was normal, as per its price it is not that good. Right now the market price is 26500/- however we have other better options available. It contains Windows Mobile 6.1 OS in it. Well it was my 1st windows mobile and my experience with this OS was not good as it was not easy to handle. Without stylus you cant even click on a cross at the upper right side. So altogether out of 10 i will give it 6.5 marks. This phone is only useful for business people not for normal user.

hi all, can it be used for handwriting using chinese characters? and how about the camera quality? pls reply.
I have had this phone for around 15 months now. Overall I have been quite impressed with it - particularly the Outlook & POP3 email capabilities and being able to use it to connect my laptop to the internet. My big gripe is with regards to battery life. I struggle to get a full day out of this, evening having bought a replacement "longer life" battery. I've resorted to switching off emails/data connection but then it makes you think why bother having this phone if you have to do this - rather defeats the object I think. A real shame because apart from that the other minor problems (it is slightly bulky but that's largely because of the the great keyboard & it is running Windows so occasionally gets it's knickers in a twist, needing a power off/on reset) it does function well.
Can i please know how is the interenet facility ? I mean the speed and all....thnx
David B., 24 Mar 2009should i buy htc tytn ii???it all depends on what you want to do with your phone
its an old phone~If you can find one for cheap~yes
I bought used one a year ago for $200 and its totally worth it~
had other phones (iphone, black berry...etc) but I love this one the most~ its little bulky but has more flexibility to customize than others.
