Is there anyone actually using this in a car?
Grateful for any advice on what to get in order for it to work without echo for the other party.
it is heavy no doubt! The features do make up for weight. Its an award winning phone!
Bear in mind, it takes a fully functional brain to use (you don't have to be a rocket scientist) BUT its not the phone you wanna carry out on a sat night, paryting. thats when your nokia 1100 comes in.
MON - FRI its the next best thing to having a sexy, hot blonde secretary in your pocket! (she would be heavier to carry around) :)
You should try Softmaker Office It's the only Desktop-Class Office Suite for any platform and fortunately the TyTN II (WM6 Professional) has the capabilities to run the application to it's full.
Hi!I have never seen such high ratings for a phone on gsmarena.com! does anyone know of another phone currently avail that beats these scores? but dont you think it's a bit toooo heavy or is it worth the weight (wait)?
this is an outstanding phone with every feature for the business man on the go. It is your mobile office and also acts as your entertainment when we have our load shedding in SA. i can't really say it has any cons beside sometimes you would lose some contact details while using activesync (which is not the phones fault). A great phone, i plan on keeping this one for the entire 2 years that i am suppose to.
If you need a hardware qwerty keyboard choose the TyTN II,if not then the Touch Cruise is for you.
got one question for everyone, hope u guys can help out :P
i wanna get this phone but in hk, the Touch Cruise has just newly launched out in shops...
but i had my eyes on this tytn2 already and confused which phone to get now...
anyone has any suggestions?
can any of you please assist. im looking for a good folder lock app that i can download and install on my TyTn2 to protect my files (docs, pdf's,pics etc..)
i've tried searching but only find trail versions.. anyone please.
What's that guy going on about??!The TyTN II preforms just as well,if not better than any other device as a phone. As has been mentioned numerous times,it's the lack of 3d3 hardware acceleration that's the problem.
review on call quality. here is the URL
poor as a phone and poor as a PDA??????????
I don't agree with you. This probably the best Pocket PC available in the market. Ofcourse I agree it lacks the GDI drivers. But except for that it is excellent and fully packed device with almost all features.
Call quality is superb. Better than Nokia N95
Check the GSMarena review on call quality
The TYTN II....what can I say.....CAUTION.
I have ahd this device now for less than a week and have a list of issues a couple of pages long. Most of my complaints are simply poor design features of the software which HTC just dismisses and says I'll have to live with.
Poor as a phone and poor as a PDA.
Getting a demo of the Stellar at the o2 outlet won't show you it's true capabilities.Owning a PPC is all about how you customize the device to suit your needs. Many people prefer Nokia's/SE etc because they preform better 'out of the box' little do they know what pocket pc's are really capable of...
hi. i love my tytn II phone. can anyone who actually owns the phone recommend me on what is the best resolution to view videos? i want to upload some videos onto my phone but they dont come out too clear to watch.
I agree the i phone does lack.
The TyTN II is cheaper. It is hevyer
BUT in dimensions the TYTN II is not as tall or as wide as the I-Phone. It is thicker but it has the Keyboard !!
thx i am going to have a demo on the 02 Stella(TyTN II) nxt week so i will find out more
Well... you can't compare iphone with tytn ii as both are totally different platforms. I agree iphone is rich in graphics but lacks so many features (no 3G, no GPS, no 3rd party S/W, no qwerty keybord)
if you can survive with QVGA screen you can go for tytn ii (of course it is bit bulky). Except for the lacking GDI drivers it is the best pocket PC in the market.
hope now you can make a decision........
