copy ur mp3 file and paste it in 'my document' of ur phone memory, then only set it at 'sound & notification'
hello friends, how to set a MP3 as alarm tone. Ringtone I managed, but alarm tone I can not find how to do. thx
gaming? what games do u play on the tytn
btw, thanks to both u guys answering my questions :P if i have any more question, please help me, please :)
i know that the rebooting of the pda phones are slow as i have a p535 at the moment :P
in addition, i heard that this qualcomm cpu chip is like a core duo, is it correct?
Normal operation and it\'s fine,a little faster than n95 but try gaming and it fails miserably.HTC need to sort out the drivers and quick. This device with that qualcomm chip could be like a f1 car with aviation fuel
The pda isn't slow although it takes it take 20secs or so to boot. The htcclassaction.org campaign is over stating to get the point across. Some functions such as camera are slow but as someone already said a new ROM will fix this.
Go to settings > Sound & Notification > Event
> use the scrole down arrow and select the sound you want.
i would like to know if the phone is slow or fast.....bcoz i will be buying this phone soon, thanks alot everyone
Can anyone tell me how to change the sms tone on the TyTn2.
i've been strugling..
i have been using this pda for few day.. found that this pda having a very good surface if compare with my d810 ( previous phone ). coz the paint not easier tear off. but if compare the sound and camera with d810, i found that d810 is much better than this phone.
new drivers are on the way for kaiser/cruise.htc will release a new rom with proper drivers soon
The qualcomm chip inside the Tytn II is capable of far more than any chip used in N-series handsets however HTC drag their feet and still haven't released the necessary drivers. Many users are furious with HTC ,legal action is a distinct possibility!http://www.htcclassaction.org/
Hi,I've not used the nokia n82 but do have n95.I can tell you kaiser GPS chipset is a 100times better and it's excellent for web browsing.N95 was better for camera, music and had a better screen.Sorry for my bad english but i'm from portugal.
N82 is a better multimedia phone. The TyTN II can't compete with the Nokia's in this arena(at least not until drivers are made for 3d acceleration).N82 has drawbacks too though.Symbian os isn't on the same level as WM6.Symbian software is poor when compared with the WM counterpart. The Tytn II can use multiple browsers-PIE,netfront,opera,deepfish etc and of coarse you can set the view as one column, default or desktop.
Has anyone compared this to the Nokia N82??
While it would be very handy to have many of the office features my main use for a phone would be as a phone, a portable camera/video recorder (which I use quite alot and I see the Nokia is 5 mega pixels) and as a GPS sat nav through my motorbike intercom(although I would install secondary software on either ie tom tom or garmin).
Both seem to have good internet access although I noticed the N82 will fit to page or show as a larger image. Does the HTC do this as well or do you constantly have to scroll across to see the full width of a page?
If anyone can help I would be very grateful.
can anyone please help me .. i can't seem to figure out a way to view the names of people who send me msgs .. whenever someone sends me a msg .. it's just his/her number that appear and it's really bothering me because i dont wanna memorize all of my contacts numbers just to know who is sending me a msg !
hey people this is 1 fantastic phone i recently bought the one and only it had in my country thanks to a store name Gizmos and Gadgets. well actually i bought it for my sister who lives in the US i live way in Guyana (South America)well the phone spent about 2 weeks with me before i sent it but i fell so much in love with it i wanted to keep it for myself but i promised her i was getting it for her so i had to send it. but i would encourage anybody thinking about buying 1 to go ahead u will have no regrets (it takes time to understand it) but its worth all. by the way it was the 2nd day on display in the store and i grabed it. its was expensive but wat i love the phone just had to get it. HEY GO AHEAD AND BUY THAT PHONE U WILL LOVE IT. E-MAIL ME LET ME KNOW HOW IT WORKS (that sexy mini computer)
Here's a cool little freeware application to play with the UI.http://www.speedyshare.com/630159394.html
TyTN II has a fair bit over TyTN-GPS(gps chipset that really works!)HSDPA,HSUPA,far better CPU(can't wait for driver problem to be corrected)3x RAM available to user, handles mem cards up 32GIG etc etc etc
Im doing a follow up to this device which i had for 2 1/2 months now...Its a masterpiece...my dad has the at&t 8125 and my bro has the 8525(aka tytn I) and i have Kaiser(8925/tytn II) I compared with all 3. there all the same with few exceptions to each one. for the most part. the Tytn II has windows 6 for OS and the previous models are 5.0 Tytn II can tilt hence At&t tilt. The bad and only bad part about TYTN II is that when you slide back and forth...the screen takes longer to adjust compared to TYTN I and 8125. IT takes 2-3 seconds for screen adjustment and the previous models are 1 sec or even less. This has more ram and more storage but all features are the same. THis is a masterpiece. i got this phone for 100 dollars compared to 600 because of 2 yr contract with 50% and 150 dollar mail in rebate which comes down to 100 dollars...Stylus is a wow because i let people find the stylus on the phone and they cant because it blends perfectly with the phone which is a plus. Im a nursing student and i have epocrates and drug books in this device and guess what... no slowdown..load time takes between 2-5 secodns which is normal...depending on the amount of things you have on your phone(dont forget to delete messages because it builds up) ive dropped this phone 2 times already but amazingly...no scratches and no slowdown or anything messed up. this device is like a tank...If you want a laptop but smaller and easily to take around, this is the device everyone has been waiting for... you can edit on word, excel and powerpoint. I do notes on my device and i dont need to bring my books to school because i have everything in this device...its helpful to have a micro sdh card...(i got the 6bg for $75) any questions..reply to me here...ill keep you guys updated in the future...hope my review was good enough for you to pick this device...i LOVE IT
