I tried LineageOS with Android 11 which was apparently more stable than 14. It had very bad microphone problems. So I decided to go back to Pie.

Very solid phone the camera is awesome
But the battery doesn't last and after long time of pressing it becomes very hot

Please to say that after finally updating to Android 9 and installing the latest Google Wallet app, contactless payments still work perfectly. (Previously some years back, Android 9 would break them).
I dread the day this phone finally dies.

I still use this phone and it's been 7 years, still didn't slow down and there is no lag. Only battery gives me 2-3 hours screen time after 7 years, except that I'm still happy to used it. Interesting thing is htc u11 is 60hz and my tablet 120hz, but they feels same. I don't feel like 60hz, it's very smooth. Htc made a great phone that can keep for years. Special feature of this phone is earphone sound also, it's great for listening songs. I used their earphones for 7 years and still they looking new. Htc made really durable phone and earphone. And camera is great. My brother had Iphone 15 pro, but differences not like light and dark, maybe iphone 15 pro %10 %20 better at least I saw like that. I was expecting like day and light to be honest. But maybe next year I'm thinking to changed it because of battery.

htc phones were the best android phones. camera and sound still cannot be matched. i tried google pixl 7 crap. i had to have brightnes on 100% to match htc at 50%. tried pixl for 5min then 7months in the box before anyone bought it at very low price
. on used market ppl sell it cheap because no one wants to buy google. u11 had it all i need in a phone ..r.i.p htc :/

Great, i have just bought it by 50 usd. It looks great, but run pie 9 and it is not so smooth.

On XDA Forums there is Lineage OS for this phone. Lastest android 14 update.

This has been an amazing phone. I will complete 6 years in few months and it is still going strong. once in a while it shows signs of slowing down, just need to restart and it is back to full power. It has been a great companion, but I know if have to change it some time in near future, will use it as a backup phone.

Great device and great brand. Changed it with Samsung S20, but Samsung is far away behind as useful customization features. For instance phonebook is not so well organized, keyboard also etc.

That's probably about as much as you can get selling off a 5 year old phone from htc no less. People only care about Samsung and Apple when it comes to second hand
I thought about keeping but honestly it's not worth it, i haven't really used it after i got my new phone so it's just gonna rot away in some dusty old drawer without anyone to use it

I'm stil using HTC U11 since beginning of 2018 without any problem battery stil ok and the phone moving fast....will be a difficult decision to change it.
