If you hate bezels but love HTC, it's been a bad year for you so far, considering the U11 and U Ultra's screen-to-body ratios. But good news may be just around the corner, if a new report from France is to be believed.
The Taiwanese company is still working on new smartphones, despite the confusing Google buyout of some of its hardware engineers and designers. In fact, just a couple of days ago we heard that it plans to announce three new devices by the end of the year.
One of those will allegedly be called U11 Plus (codename Ocean Master). This is said to be the first HTC handset to adopt the premier trend of 2017, namely 18:9 aspect ratio displays with minimal bezels.
HTC U11The U11 Plus will have a 5.99-inch panel made by JDI, with 1,440x2,880 resolution. The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 835, still Qualcomm's No.1 chipset, aided by 4 or 6GB of RAM and 64 or 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage, depending on which model you choose.
A 12 MP camera will be on the back (the same unit that is in the U11), and an 8 MP shooter will take care of selfies. The U11 Plus will have IP68 certified water and dust resistance, support for Qualcomm QuickCharge 3.0 (up to 18W), and a squeezable frame that enables the Edge Sense feature.
The U11 Plus will be unveiled on November 11 in China, because it's going to be used by the company in its plan to regain at least some market share over there. For now it's not clear if the phone will be sold in developed markets, but that apparently is quite likely.

Too late, need a breakthrough in price, chain of country vide chain of outlets.
I was about to give order for Note 8, but I’ll wait now for my favourite brand phone. Hopefully it will be better looking than crazy looking iPhone X.
