Ramsey, 16 Jun 2020HTC should launch a phone with AMOLED screen instead always using low quality LCD screen.The LCD screen HTC uses on their phones are top notch, much better for your eyes compared to all other OEMS. Do some research and you'll see how.

So...um...there's gonna be an HTC U20+ with 865, Telephoto cam, 2K90Hz refresh rate panel, 6,000 mAH battery, headphone jack with DAC, stereo speakers, IP68, Wireless charging, and bezels for the max of $900....right?....right?

Ramsey, 16 Jun 2020HTC should launch a phone with AMOLED screen instead always using low quality LCD screen.I agree, they should use OLED screens instead of LCD but I disagree with ‘low quality’, HTC's LCD screens have always been very good, even better than many cheap OLED/ P-OLED screens. BTW, this is a mid range phone so maybe it's a strategy for saving some money.

Finally HTC come back, but hey come on.
This one really have to be cheap, there's tons of this kinda phones out there for little money.
I like the size and it have 3w higher charging vs the pro with 15w fast charge... Fast charge lol

It is nice to see a new HTC phone after some time they where absent. If they should have added a telephoto camera it would have been a bigger hit in my opinion. I mean the cheap Xiaomi K30 Pro Zoom Edition have 3x optical zoom, at a nice price though, so it is possible.
By the way if this is called U20, maybe there will be U20 Ultra with better specs later this year.
One thing I really hate is the size of the phone, at 171 mm it is too big for my taste(huge bezels are to blame).

HTC has got to stop inflating the price of their phones. Brands like Huawei, Xiaomi, umdigi, blackview create even better phones and they do not cost as much as this. If they do really wish to get back to smartphone market they really have to think that some of us cannot afford this phones.

It is good to see HTC back in the game! If they should have put a telephoto camera on it would be even better. There are other cheap phones as well.
